Bloblings have noticed mysterious, gooey bloblings popping up in the world. Many bloblings are weary of them because of their resemblance to the tar from the tar pits, which have been known to eat bloblings for something called 'breakfast'.
01/09/23 Hey there!
It's September now!
We've updated the Art Prompts and Writing Prompts with some new stuff for September, as ever. I can't believe we're getting so close to the end of the year. o-o

hope follows the crowd into the rather odd rooms. she unfortunately couldn't bring Lye down to show the godborns any of their tricks, and it seems that they may not end up meeting eris at all. so it was a good thing she thought to bring the fish she hauled the basket up to the front ... middle of the room she couldn't quiet tell the eyes were very distracting. she placed the basket of assorted fish (23 in count) the basket was in good shape as she had just made it a few numbers ago. she and lye would have to get more glow grape vines to make another set latter after she got back. she was having such a good time seeing the things under the tar and even making new friends, but she greatly missed her friend. walking back with a much quieter tone to where she and Altum had been she waited for the greyish blob to give their gift, she planed to ask what it was as they hadn't gotten much down time to talk and it seemed like a good starter point.
Star dangled for a little while but nothing seemed to work. It was then that Star saw Kali had flown up to where Star was dangling from the lion's nose ring.
"Ah yeah. Thank you" Star said as she got conformable in Kali's arms. She watched as Kali's swirling Cloud swirl around. She took note on how Kali moved the ring and that as soon as she knocked it against the lion's chin there was a very strange sound. It made Star laugh.
She jumped out of Kali's arms and ran to the front of the crowd so that she could see and hear what Yume was saying. She was very interested in the changing rooms. But when they walked into the temple she was giddy with excitement. This was Eris's temple
She completely ignored the gift giving part and went up to the statue of the cat. Star tried at first to look at it. But it just got fuzzy and the more she tried the more her head hurt. She tried not looking at but at a point next to them. It seemed to help a little. But now she was curious. What would happen if she were to touch one. She slowly moved up one of her paws and poked at the statue in front of her.

Altum watched as the many doors sped past along with their quick descriptions. With the intensity of the situation, the Eris head probably got a nose ache. The topic of presents was brought up. It wasn't too much of a bother for him to hold it with his tail, but he assumed that it was bound to get brought up eventually.
He entered the portal into the dark room with the other bloblings. There wasn't any discernable place that looked to be a place to leave the present, so he unpackaged his carved Bleeding Heart Tree and placed it on top of the box, like a little pedestal. Walking over to the throne, he placed it on the platform. Looking over, he saw Hope's present of fish in a basket. It was his first time seeing such a creature, and it made him curious.
As he joined back up with Hope, he voiced his curiosity. "Excuse me, but what are those creatures in that basket, and where did they come from? I believe the few biomes I saw did not include those kinds of animals."
Kali flew backwards a little giving the godborns to take her place by the head. Then let Star jump out of her arm and floated down herself , not too far from where Star landed. Kali shifted her feet so she still stood steady in spite of the shaking, and she listed quietly completely unfazed. Kali's eyes sparkled, and the the colors of her eyes swirled as she entered the room with the statues. It hit her that she just had to tell Lilac all about this place, as she knew every piece of it would simultaneously horrify and intrigue her. After she got over her initial interest she picked the gift up from her tail from where it was holding it and glanced around for a suitable place. She walked up to near the throne and set the metallic box, which shook slightly as the 69 Erisfish squirmed inside it, somewhere in front of the throne.
Evrah had no interest in Mallory's door game so he waited for the ruse to play itself out. He was generally unimpressed with the dolly-blob-thing herself. Yume's request to be nice to her while she was apparently exempt from trying herself garnered even less favor from the black blob. The nicest Evrah was willing to be in this situation was keeping his voice down to an unobtrusive level as he snarked to Kip- who he was still comfortably leaning against as Star and Kali went to play along. "I bet she just forgot how to use the door and is just too embarrassed to admit it."
The mechanism was simple and obvious enough that when Mallory dismissed their collective success Evrah rolled his eyes with a huff. "If that surprised her do you think she's going to be disappointed when she realizes we are capable of basic movement and speech as well? Maybe she forgets simple things like that often? Poor Yume, it's so tragic." A scoff and wicked smirk curved his mouth, "Though I suppose it would be hard to find good help when I already have the best."
Then came the doors. The ambiguous mentions of a 'singychanty' caught his curiosity but he supposed it might be a straightforward name and description so Evrah wasn't invested enough to investigate. Especially not with the description of what was in the greenhouse... these foot plants. He sat up a little straighter for a moment, torn between 'I should see if I could safely have one' and 'Why does it exist though -_-' before leaning back into his pup as the next door was shifted.
"Chaos room in the Chaos temple... how droll." He drawled before the next door popped up. Pink is for parties. An amused glance was cast at Kip's pink eyes. Throne room. And that was just glossed over like it wasn't interesting. Though Evrah supposed it might also be self explanatory... but still, there were questions. The get lost tunnels, Evrah was beginning to wonder if Eris named these places or not. Was it more chaotic to name things obvious things when they were expected to be... more chaotic? Maybe.
Regardless, it was apparently gift giving time and they were going to the temple to do so...which had a throne... which made the snake blob even more curious about what was in the throne room then. But wondering wouldn't give answers and he still wasn't sure that he wanted to give his gift as he had originally intended to. First he eyed the statues... as much as he could. As the headache flared he'd look of to the side before trying again a few times stubbornly until the sour mood from earlier flared. With a derisive huff he fished out the three orbs. He popped one irritably in his own mouth, gave one to Kip, and took a moment to consider if Eris would appreciate the orb more as is or flung into the air for fate to decide.
Another glance at the headache inducing humanoid form and the orb was yeeted to find it's fate where it will. The action was slightly accidental as his orb influenced impulse control caught the motion too late to stop it. With a slightly blank face Evrah said to the air as if that hadn't just happened, "Enjoy. I also offer my forgiveness for your terrible front door of tar and a cup of Reinala's tea if you're ever in the mood to stop by."

Hope replied to the quandary " oh there fish ,there are a whole bunch of kinds, there some that look like the gods and others that seem to have no connection to anything else in the lands." she pondered the fish that exist some of them really didn't make much sense at all. she hadn't the slightest of thought about the variety's of fish while she had been catching them. " huh ah guess ya might not know about them. you can fond them in the water of the color wave coast and maybe som other places. ah got em while fishing ya get a stick and maybe som bait and sit and wait for the fish ta bite then ya real em up! its pretty relaxin if ah do say so my self." and she did say so. "if ya want when we get outta here i can teach ya" she offered to the blobbing as they seemed to have an interest.
When you give your offering to Eris, you feel a presence within your mind. Up until now it's probably just been you, but suddenly it's like someone is trying to shove their way into the shirt you're wearing; something that has been singularly yours for as long as you've been alive is now being used by another.
A deep, growling voice fills your mind; a voice that smacks of blackness, tarriness. It's hoarse and growly, but strong and gleeful. There's a strange combination of both weight and lightness to it.

Bloblings pile gifts and offerings in lumps around the room, as per Yume's instructions. Beneath each of the statues is a popular spot, the piles more like mountains in those places, and a group of blobbies has started trying to cover the throne in gifts such that the man upon it is completely engulfed. Popular offerings seem to be burgers from the burgerbush, various kinds of swamp plant life and homemade trinkets. The trinkets range from two glow grapes connected by a stick to ornate ferrowood statuettes of feline-like creatures with manes and long bodies.
Peeps seem to be trying to replicate the God in various mediums, but with very little material to work with... every depiction looks different. Most blobs seem to have the many eyes thing right, with each homemade offering boasting 3 or more.
When most have brought their gifts to their pile of choice and most are emptyhanded/emptylimbed, the red eyes on the wall all turn downward, looking hungrily over the mostly eaten food and, debatably, riches.
From beneath the flickering candles of red and purple, and down from the smoky blackness above, snaky little human hands reach down to grasp the offerings with their vile little fingers. As soon as peeps start noticing them screams erupt, and bloblings gravitate towards the Godborns. Yume herself has surprise in her ashy eyes, and she exchanges glances with Curi and Mal.
"Don't worry, the h a n d thingies feel like D a d d y ' s. oyo"
Ephemeral and dark, the hands start lifting things upwards, sometimes even working together to scoop up piles at a time.
Hearing Eris being mentioned, the Cultists that have been hanging back begin to encroach, gleeful little smiles on their faces. "He is here... he is here! We must do the singychanties now; if we do the singychanties, perhaps He will consider showing His full self."
Yume turns her bunny nose up, as if she's smelled something foul. "Noooooope! N o p e. I told you we're not doing the singychanty, and now you don't get to come on the Tour anymore. Come with me, we're leaving." Grouchily, Yume waves a hand and conjures a swirling portal. She glowers over her shoulder to the Cultists. "You can't keep pushing people to do your weird chanting stuff. It's c r e e p y. I'm going to my room and I'm bringing the b l o b s with me."
Swiftly, the bungirl sucks you and the rest of the Tourgoers into her black hole. You appear on the other side instantaneously, in an avalanche of squishy balls all trying to rush out of the same place.
Once you reorient yourself, assuming you do so at all... you're in a dark place. In the same way that it hurts to look at a light that's too bright, the sheer blackness in this room is a shock to your see-holes and it takes a few moments for them to acclimate. However, when they do, they're greeted with a rectangular room with walls that drip and shimmer, an ooze-like substance running down them like a waterfall. The room seems about the size of an Old World football field, but you probs don't know what that is. The floor is seemingly nonexistent, though it does feel like you're standing on something, it just doesn't look like it. The liquid running down the walls appears to be doing so infinitely, never stopping or pooling on anything.
"You know what's nice, Yume? You know what I think is hella? This room, but also floors." "There is a floor. oyo"
Bloblings scatter, pin to the floor and whimper, floating in place and casting pitiful looks into the crowd. Some start trying to climb taller blobs, and some kind souls actually begin picking up base bloblings and holding them, providing them with a sense of stability. Curi joins in and starts collecting blobbies, holding them close to her core.
"I know, I know, the blobs are just making all sorts of scared faces and it hurts me. Can you tell us about this place?" "U g h. But this is... fine, I guess I did bring us here, but only because the Cultists know they're not allowed in here. Don't consider this a part of the Tour, okay? This is private. Between you and me." Yume looks left and then right, and then heaves out a long sigh. "This is my Training Room. Back when I was first... rightfully imprisoned down here," her nose scrunches, and Mallory's eyebrows do too, "Daddy made this for me so I could use my powers in it. I know I wasn't supposed to be using them at all, but Daddy said I couldn't be expected to control them unless I practiced, so..."
The Godborn is shifting around as she speaks, feet inching back and forth. She doesn't seem to know what to do with her hands. "... don't tell on me."
Curi nods slowly. "That sounds fair, honestly. I don't think Ichor would be upset about that - in fact, I can feel sometimes that she kinda regrets what she did to you and Reinala."
"Not enough to let me o u t of here until now." "And it's not just Ichor who should feel guilty," Mallory hisses, leaning out from behind the goo girl - she had been hiding behind her like peeps hide behind trees in cartoons, completely obscured until she wasn't.
"Ooooookaaaaay, shhhshshshh. The blobs are already feeling all shaky, let's not make it any worse."
Yume's eyes narrow and the cogs within her mind turn, and for a moment it seems like she's going to dive further into the topic... but the corners of her mouth tug upwards, and she speaks. "I know! oyo! This was the place where Daddy helped me practice my powers when I didn't have any, so I bet you could use the last one we practiced too! What was that? Portals? Yuuuup, I bet it was portals. Okay, blobbies - I think you can use portals anywhere in this room. All you have to do is... think about how much you want to be over there, and I bet a set of portals will appear!"
Mal peels herself from behind Yume and chuckles darkly. "I can help you! Here's some motivation... to learn." She waves a plush hand and a portal appears beneath one of the brave fellows holding up a small mountain of shivering blobbies. Another one opens above, and all at once they begin to fall, screams tearing out of their mouths. They begin trying to claw towards the solid floor, but as they continue falling their momentum just forces them through faster. Flailing for something to hold on to, the burly blob releases all of the bloblings in their arms and suddenly they're all looping through the portals infinitely. Fat tears begin pooling inside several of the blobs' eyes and blood streaks through the portal, splattering on those affected... and that's only the beginning. The portal starts to get larger and larger, more and more of the floor being eaten up by the oppressive portal...
... and it's coming towards you.
What do you do?! (In this room, your blobling has the power to use portals! They may only be used to go to other places in this room, however.)

many varying noises of obvious discomfort were coming from the blobs stuck in the portal loops, many of the blobs yet to be sucked in were backing up from the portals. those that weren't being to shocked at the site of seeing so many blobs flying through what seemed like a rip in the universe. some of the blobs starting to travel at such hi speeds that it was causing damage to their bodies. the tour had taken a massive shift in tone and many of the blobs were scared. hope took guard of altum, trying to keep them as far from the ever expanding portals as they could, making sure to be the one closer to them.
hope wasn't able to just simply stand there and watch this happen, it was like something out of her nightmares. she didn't remember much of anything from the old world but she did remember stories and it seemed that there use to be a type of story that was dark, twisted and never seemed to end on a good note. and this scene unfolding before her was as if it were plucked directly from one of those... horror stories. she couldn't sit by and watch blobs go through this. as she spoke her normally rather thick accent seemed almost non existent. "HEY!" she shouted at the blob who had started the incident " YOU CANT TREAT THEM LIKE THIS! ITS NOT FUNNY ANYMORE LET THEM GO." shifting around the room safe guarding altum from the portals she tried to get closer to the godborns. she wasn't sure if it was that the blob hadnt heard her or that she was being actively ignored, though she wouldn't be surprised if it were the ladder. she felt all of her energy building in her chest she wanted this all to stop she want to help the blobs in the free fall, she needs to protect altum and the few other blobs that had been being her.
she shouted over the the blob again. "MAL PLZ STOP THIS, IT NOT A JOKE YOU CANT PLAY WITH THE LIVES OF BLOBLING LIKE THIS, THEY ARENT TOYS." she didn't seem to getting a response from the button eyed blob, so she turned her voice to yume and curi hoping they might be able to get through enough to stop her before any blob gets seriously hurt. "YUME, CURI. YOU HAVE TO STOP HER THE BLOBS ARE SCARED! THIS CANT BE GOOD FOR THEM PLZ DO SOMETHING!" she hoped they had heard her pleading, the feeling in her chest was over whelming, there was no way to save the falling blobs, the portals were to big to try to push them out of now. Mallory seemed to be unrelenting in her torture of the blobs and she wasn't even sure if the other godborns had heard her. all she could do was keep altum and the few other blobs with them as safe as she could. trying her best to keep them calm and monitor the portals she started doing just wat she did best telling them stories. stories of bravery and staying through the storm, stories with good happy endings. she could feel her body wanting to fight the force the situation to end, restraining her self to keep the blobs as calm as she could, she wanted this to end peacefully for Mallory to let the blobs out of the portals free fall and for all of them to be okay, or at least not having any major injuries.
she turned to Altum, checking to make sure that they were as safe as she could keep them. they were backed up against a wall by this point, "ALTUM, IF THIS GETS ANY CLOSER WE HAVE TO MOVE THE RIGHT! ITS OUR BEST CHANCE TELL THE OTHER BLOBS" she stuck out her hand to show him what direction she was talking about. the portal was gaining on them and she feared it wouldn't stop before they had all fallen in. she feared she would fall in, she was scared that she wouldn't be able to protect the blobs here. she feared she wouldn't get back to the surface, to lye, to serenity. she could feel the edge of the portal nearing her feet.
"ALTUM, IF THIS GOES SOUTH FIND LYE AND TELLER SHE MEANS THE WERLD TA ME, FIND THE WHITE BLOB NAMED SERENTIY AND TELL HER I..." she paused, "TELL HER TO TAKE GOOD CARE OF LYE FOR ME". the portal kept growing and the sounds of the blobs in free fall grew ever louder and louder, the room filling with screams and a thunderous whooshing. she stood guard of altum and the others ready to do what she need to to keep them safe as long as she could.
Midnight was followed all of the blobs into a room. That each time that someblob stared at the one of the three statues it make your eyes blurry. Midnight stared at the one of the three statues trying to make way what it is. Then the other blobs were going some where so Midnight followed them into a room still dizzy.
When Midnight got her vision back she was falling out one portals and in other. Midnight started yelling
" aaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh where is the tar aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh." Then Midnight started running in place. Then her lags got tired and laid down in place like there is a floor still going out one portals and in other. Midnight Was snoring as she was listening to all of the blobs screaming.

This was Altum's third or fourth time hearing Eris, he couldn't remember, but he wasn't surprised if the god forgot about him. There were plenty of chaos oriented blobs at this point to remember. He, however, met very few, and Eris always gave a big impression. Altum of course knew Eris and even done his quest of planting the trees. This didn't help the uncomfortableness of Eris invading his mind once more though.
He remembered Hope's offer of fishing. "It would be a pleasure if you could teach me in your spare time."
After being sucked throough a portal, he immediately felt queasy as his many eyes tried to adjust to the instant black. He righted himself and looked at what he thought was the floor. 'Ah, well, this doesn't look solid. Let's just avoid looking down.' He shuffled and shied away from the blobs that eyed him down as potential stability. He didn't want the extra weight and confusion, as much as it was rude to refuse helping them. The others' desperation won out though, and he was swarmed anyway. He went with it with an inward sigh as he extended his massive wings and corralled some base bloblings under them like an umbrellas, not that he knew what that was.
The topic of The Trial was brought up and shot down surprisingly quickly. Guess it was still a sensitive subject. Yume brought up the idea of portals and that anyone could use them in this room, which interested Altum greatly. This also led to the thought of how The Trial even started on Yume's end. Mallory began to infinitely send blobs into a plunge. The blobs around him squished towards him harder and Hope began yelling. He was very touched that Hope wanted to cover Altum even though they just met. This kept Altum calm as he concentrated on making a portal. He heard Hope start talking of her Meowler and another blob, and to warn the blobs around them to move to the right. He reached out a wing to lay on her shoulder and used the rest of his body to touch as many blobs as he could. He didn't know if he would be able to move enough out of harms way. He thought very hard on moving behind Mallory, where she wouldn't grow the portal unless she wanted in as well.
"MOVE!" It was the first time he actually yelled, and it sounded like thunder in his ears. It wasn't towards the blobs or anyone, but he yelled in hopes of the portal knowing where to go. A smaller version of Mallory's black hole appeared and they dropped and shot up through the portal. The force wasn't too great, and since he was where he wanted to go, the portal shut. He didn't know if all the blobs near him made it, but there were several around, including Hope. He attempted to scoot a peaceful distance towards Mallory and tried to persuade her.
His deep, calm voice was oddly similar to Eris, Altum realized, but without the gravely and chaotic tone to it."You are not wrong that one of the best ways to motivate someone is to experience it first hand and give someone a push, but we can agree that when blood and tears appear, it no longer inspires others. You can tell already, but everyone is now very distressed due to the portal. The best course of action would to slow the bloblings' momentum and stop the portal before more get hurt. I do hope you didn't mean for this to happen, since others might blame your actions on Yume due to it being her power."
He wasn't looking at her, but towards the ever growing portal of negative feelings and experience. While talking, he tried not to be condescending or parental in order to be more persuasive. He just wanted to state the facts. He made sure not to move in between her and Yume since he guessed it would leave a better effect.
He mind was racing as he thought to intercept a portal between Mallory's, but stopped when he thought others might have had the same thought. 'If nothing beneficial happens in a few seconds, I'll do it.'
Star let out a little yip and jumped back when the statue spoke? She was going to poke it again when she noticed the blobs from the other room were back wanting to do a chanting thing. Which sounded all kinds of boring. She was glad when Yume opened up a portal and sucked them all in.
It took her eyes a little time to adjust but when it did she was able to see what the walls looked like. Now this was her type of room. She walked over to the wall and poked her paw at it. Hmmm.
She turned around and listened as Yume started to talk. Telling them all about the room and that they could practice making portals.
She had always wanted to make a portal. Just think where she could go! But before she could try another blob that was standing behind Yume said something about helping the blobs and waved a hand. Stars eyes widened as not only one but two portals opened and sucked in some blobs only for them to fall out of the one above them. They were in a loop and were now continuously falling. And the portals were getting larger. That, That mean blob did this! How dare she!
Star took a step forward only realizing that she could not just simply storm up to the blob. But maybe she could make her own portal.
She waved her paw in the air like she had seen the blob do. But nothing happened. And the portal was getting bigger and closer.
Star thought back to what Yume said. Yume said to just think about where you wanted to go. At least that was the gist of what Yume was saying.
Star closed her bright yellow eyes and thought really hard of where she wanted to go. But nothing happened.
Maybe she needed to keep her eyes opened. She opened them again only to realize just how much more the portal had grown and just how many blobs had fallen in.
This needed to be stopped and the only one who could stop it was the one who started it. She needed to get over to that blob.
almost immediately A rather small portal opened up in front of her and without thinking about Star jumped in. The only thing on her mind was getting to that blob and making her stop!
Star popped out above the blob "Stop this!" she snarled. She aimed all four feet to land on the blob below her.
It wasn't like Evrah wanted a reply from Eris or anything. He could message the god of chaos any old time so it wasn't that special, just... you know... Themis had spoken to him in her temple. Of course, any disappointment that was or was not felt and the increasing buzz that he had going fizzled out as they were taken to another room with a floorless looking floor. His wings were prepped and he already had a limb around Kip. And that was well before Mallory maliciously opened up the floor. Casting a glare at the dolly he edged away from the portal ready to grab Kip and Star- except Star was no longer there. Pulling Kip tighter against him his eyes darted around the blobs that were falling looking for the black cat, "Kip did you see Star fall- nevermind." He spotted her lunging at the doll as he asked and hesitantly took to the air with Kip, "Get them Star!" With any luck distracting them or knocking them out would do the trick.

Kali's previous hesitancies and worries quickly faded at the prospect of learning how to use some kind of magic. She previously wasn't fazed by the reaching hands or the strange flooring. It was curious and weird, but she was more fascinated than spooked. Though, she did pity all the poor bloblings who were terrified. She was reaching for a few when she heard Yume talk about powers. That's when she stopped and her eyes, including the chest ones, all went wide. They may be able to make portals in this place?!
Kali's swirling cloud begun to swirl and twist quicker and quicker. She only hesitantly glanced at the portal Mal made and the poor bloblings that begun to fall right through it. Her feet lifted off of the ground beneath her once more so she wouldn't have to worry about that portal swallowing her up. Then, she reached her own hands out, mimicking the was Mal and Yume did, and aimed it at the already falling blobs. She began to concentrate, but something in her made her freeze. All the anxieties that just as quickly faded came rushing back to her. She was going to try to create a portal to intercept the bloblings with a portal of her own so that she may drop them onto solid ground, but she was worried. What if she hurt them? Killed them? Would it be her fault? Perhaps it was best to let someone else deal with it.
She was also so more than tempted to drop all those quickly falling blobs right onto Mal's head. Yet she waited, and her hand drew back. The edge of the portal was coming nearer, and yet she hesitated. How angry would that make the godborn? If she dropped blobs on her friend? A memory flashed of a time when she didn't care about the feelings of other bloblings and how they perceived her, of a time when she carved her own path that made sense to her. When she followed her own morals as chaotic as they may be. Before things were as simple as her doing what entertained her, but now everything felt so much more complicated. Her eyes flitted back and forth between the bloblings, and she saw some of the others move into action.
Kali pressed her lips together and raised her hand again, but instead of it being aimed at the falling bloblings, it was directed in front of her. She told herself she should simply let the others take care of the problem, and she should try out the whole mechanic of teleportation before she did anything rash. Her eyes narrowed and she imagined herself a little way down the room and how much she wanted to go there. There was nothing particular about the spot other than it being a bit further from the portal growing on the ground beneath where her feet floated. Still, though, a portal slowly appeared in front of her and she moved through it, and she found herself in the spot she imagined. It wasn't much and was no help, but now she thought she had the hang of trying to create these things. Plus, it was safe and ran no risk of hurting anyone.
The game is on. Mallory's bi-coloured eyes watch on as the bloblings ripping through her portal begin to leak, splotches of neon green, deep blue, shimmering rainbow and more painting their skin as they cycle through the loop they're in again. It's like they've been finger painted, but the smell of green apple blood fills the room; a reminder that this isn't paint.
When peeps start to respond to her fun game with horror and derision, her lips curl skyward. Something about this situation fills her with unmistakable glee - maybe she's an apathetic bitch, or maybe she's lacking empathy... but seeing people's faces contorted in horror makes her chest swell, makes adrenaline rush through to her fingertips, leaving them tingling.
People are backing away from the tear she made, and others are slipping in, joining the people already caught in the gravitational current. Knowing that these people are scared because of something she's done, stepping frantically backward because of her actions, making their cute little scared faces because of her... it's exhilarating. Her ears ring and she can hear her own blood rushing through her, whether it is or not, the sound of rushing water drowning out all else.
Meanwhile, to say that all of this blood splattering around has Curi's attention would be an understatement. A line of drool has formed down the Godborn's face, pooling at her chin - without Dios here to steady her, to remind her of the life side of being a Daughter of Blood/Life, she's absolutely enthralled. It's not until she starts to feel genuine suffering that she snaps out of her daze.
Aware of it now, Curi tries to put an end to this portal business, but a strange feeling greets her when she goes to do so; when she tries to calm everyone down, tries to turn their excitement down as if it's a knob on a radio... nothing happens. She tries again, but she's met with a similar feeling of nothingness, like typing on a keyboard that isn't plugged in.
"Uhhh... that's not hella," Curi whispers, a sudden feeling of helplessness finding its way into her chest and pooling outwards, like food colouring hitting the surface of water.
Mallory is cackling now, but the sound stops when Yume is mentioned, and she begins to listen. "... this could make people blame Yume?"
It looks like she's about to talk more because her mouth opens, but a portal opens up above her and suddenly she's got a face full of feline, paws meeting her face and causing her to topple over. But Mal is used to playing with these portals, is used to using this room for fun and games, so she reacts quickly. She opens a portal beneath the two of them, the momentum still strong, sending both of them flying through it. At the same time, she uses her arms to make one strong push, attempting to send Star flying.
The doll-like blob slides up to her feet, and checks her portal. It stopped growing while she was being mauled, but it didn't disappear... and now, it starts expanding again, sucking even more into its maw.
"There you go again, blaming Yume for something she didn't even do - you blobs sure seem to like doing that, hmmm? That's not a fun game at all. Let me tell you something - I haven't been on this fun ball for long, but it hasn't taken me long to learn that you can do anything you want here as long as you're powerful enough. Not even the person who created this place - Ichor, was it - has told us to hold ourselves back, or not to hurt each other... so to punish me for doing something I didn't even know was wrong is just as awful. We're free to play as many fun games as we want here, and nobody will even die, so what's the problem? I don't see one - I'm just trying to have a little fun!"
Bloblings start bouncing towards Mal, but not all of them are doing so because they want to tackle her like Star did. Several of them are actually nodding and starting, slowly, to giggle. They look at the bloblings zipping through the air with increasing momentum, their screams cutting out and beginning again each time they come out the other portal, and they find laughter in it. The noise is silly, and as the blobs fall their skin ripples, making their expressions... well, from the right angle, kinda hilarious.
"Weren't you ready for something like this? You're in a Chaos Temple - weren't you ready for something freaky, something unlike what you've seen before?"
Hundreds of bloblings begin laughing, the sound crashing off the walls and into your ears like a tidal wave. They jump and bounce, some in unison, and several even begin opening portals around themselves and each other, hooting and hollering as they, too, begin to speed up.
Curi rushes over to Yume, hands out in front of her. "Yume! Yume, my hands are defective. I tried to make the bloblings calm down and make sure everyone got along but I couldn't do it - what's happening?"
Yume has been standing there during all of this, eyes so dark it's difficult to tell what she's thinking. She barely acknowledges the rainbow girl when she comes sprinting up to her, eyes wide and shining. Yume had been hoping that today would be a day where Mal met some other blobs she liked. She hadn't been able to get her out to meet people because she wasn't even able to leave this place herself, but now that it was possible... it wasn't going at all like she had wanted it to. Seeing what her friend is capable of makes her feel conflicted, and brings a similar feeling to when Ichor showed her her Daddy killing a 'past Yume' to her mind. Is this really what her friend is like? Can she support this... is this okay? Can she fix it, or is there even a way to fix it? She knows from some of her past game times that Mal is dark, but she's never considered if she's dangerous.
But seeing her face looking the way it is while bloblings are starting to stretch out like taffy from just how swiftly they're plummeting...
But is being dangerous really so bad? Maybe if she was more dangerous, she would have been able to keep Ichor from pushing her beneath the earth, making her stay in somewhere she didn't feel safe. And honestly, seeing all the different reactions is making her feel fulfilled and full of energy; some part of her is deeply satisfied with all this Chaos, drinking in the sweet nectar of discord.
"She didn't tell me she was gonna do this," she breathes out, voice low and wavering. "She didn't even talk to me to see if this was what I wanted."
Curi looks between her 'defective hands' and Yume's million mile stare. "But you can fix this, right?"
"Yup." Yume reaches out and waves one goopy hand, and the portals zip up, starting at one end and moving to the other, disappearing as the two ends meet. She slows the fall of all the blobbles who are now airborne, and repairs their... stretchiness, setting them down in a state as close to their original form as possible.
The bungirl looks at Mal, whose lips draw into a line as she approaches, eyes wobbling slightly as the doll begins to consider if she's upset her one and only friend. "Let's... all calm down. oyo Mal hasn't really met anyone besides me, and I don't think I've done a very well at teaching her what games are fun."
Some blobs around are still coming down from their laughter, and others are just regaining the ability to sit up or control their own body after being at the mercy of gravity. A delightful silence has fallen over the room as many minds are trying to figure out what to do.
"... so let's play a different game. It's one I've played with blobbies before," Yume suggests.
"... it's called Truth or D'Eris. oyo"

Soma hefts the basket of random items and hands it over to set on the floor. It's an assortment ofr various items, all for Yume to play with, mostly anything interesting that isn't present in the tar pits. Lots of stuff from Onyxia has been gathered, like an abundance of ferrowood and ink and quills. There's also a good selection of other things, including plant objects from the entirety of Terrea and their products, and also some bits and pieces of creatures. Of course, the crowning object is still the tiny phial of Reinala's crystal liquid, partitioned from the supply that was bestowed individually upon everyone.
Eris, on the other hand, gets a nifty little ferrowood sculpture of a bovine's head with many eyes in his likeness, except the nose ring is a waterwheel. Instead of water, ink drips slowly down. The ink is then suctioned up slowly to bubble through the top of the head via capillary action. It's not a very fast mechanism, but hey, at least it's moving...
When the portal appears, Soma makes a wide gasping noise and then excitedly hovers above it, then dives in without further ado. It's exciting! The rest of his expression is simply tearing excitement, although occasionally he does flare to slow down the ensuring impact.
As he whizzes past, his voice echoes and then trails off, but what is audible is: "Maaal! This is fun, but ask for permission-- some of the blobbos need time to prepare themselves for FUN first!"
Breathless, he sinks to his knees. When the game of Truth and Dare is revealed, he points. "Like that! Fun is fun if it's fun AND happy. Fun isn't fun if it's Fear and Not Happy. That'd be the same as what you'd see in Order instead. The good thing is that all you gotta do to figure out which is which is ask first. That way, if they picked it, they know what they're getting into, and THEN you can get into the fun."
