Bloblings have noticed mysterious, gooey bloblings popping up in the world. Many bloblings are weary of them because of their resemblance to the tar from the tar pits, which have been known to eat bloblings for something called 'breakfast'.
01/10/23 Hey there!
It's October now!
We've updated the Art Prompts and Writing Prompts with some new stuff for October, as ever. It's spoooooOOOOoopy season now, and our prompts have been updated appropriately! Go take a look.
It's going to be a Bleeding Season this month! New droplets will be being born at the end of next month. Get thinking about what kinds of bloblings you want to stick into some bleeds, because the Season will be releasing within the first week of the month!
We have some fun things planned for this month, but we'll be sort of sprinkling them throughout. We hope you'll like them!
Our Discord server is invite only. Please DM Ichor or Saerfall after you've submitted your blobling claim form, and we'll send you an invite link. We spend most of our time on our Discord, so if it seems quiet here, we're probably all sequestered away in our server.
Etesi, who had just left another successful prank only moments ago after the shouting and teasing had become stale, now regretted having left that early. Watching speechlessly for a moment as the Blobling before him bawled and bawled black sludge onto the sand, he let out a sigh of regret and crept closer, flinching when he felt some of the sludge beneath him stick to his underside. He did nothing but sit and nod as Yume recounted her problem to him between ugly wet sniffles, and when he was certain she was done, he paused to collect his thoughts.
Think. Think. What could he do to help? Taking a quick glance at the scenery around them, Etesi could tell that the glowing lion heads and blue lambfruits were clearly her doing. The Tar Pits looked more chaotic than ever, (which in his opinion meant they looked way better,) but if committing chaos was not pleasing to Eris, God of Chaos, than what in Terrea was?

Etesi was stumpted. Yume's suggestion was a start, albeit a difficult one. Converting more Bloblings to chaos would be a good start, but the task was easier said than done. From all his time teasing, pranking and causing mayhem-what many considered to be a form of chaos-never once had any Blobling wanted to join in the fun. In fact, most Bloblings only wanted him to go away. So, causing more chaos was not really an option, especially since that was what supposedly had her crying in the first place. So the Blobling was back to staring at the tar pool collecting around them.
Then, at last, as the ink-black tears of tar began to rise to a more uncomfortable level, an idea struck.
"Maybe we could...undo the chaos?" He glanced at Yume. "That's why he's mad, right? If we just...clean up all the stuff you did, maybe he'll forgive you?" After struggling free of the sludge, he slid over towards one of the glow grape vines and began gnawing at the tendrils, eyes closed to shield him from the blinding glow. Once he freed the captor from the neon green vines, he glanced towards the bunny-like blobling and gestured to come help.

It took too many hours to count before the chaos became less...chaotic; it was hard cleaning up the mess without hands and legs, but with only a mouth and a blob body Etesi had gotten pretty far. The disorderly tangle of the glow grape vines was now gone, thrown into a nearby tar pit where their blinding glow would never shine through. The lion heads were similarly dimmed, now covered in a black, dripping mess that also dimmed their glow, but now left the sands and buildings covered in large, unusual tar-covered bumps that somewhat blended in to the surrounding area. The bright, colourful chaos had now become a dark, gloomy mess.
Once he was satisfied with his work, the grey Blobling plopped himself down onto the sands to rest. The dark tears Yume had cried had now almost completely been engulfed by the sand, leaving only a slightly-more wet patch for Etesi to sit on that didn't bother him in the slightest. Once he caught his breath, he turned to the bunny-like blobling, seeking her approval.
"Well, we did it. We cleaned the mess up." He gave Yume a soft smile. "I'm sure your dad will love you now!"
