Bloblings have begun hanging out in groups all around Terrea! They're calling them 'blobling initiatives', which sounds weirdly formal, but they're still a highly curious occurence... maybe you should check them out?
Our Discord server is invite only. Please DM Ichor or Saerfall after you've submitted your blobling claim form, and we'll send you an invite link. We spend most of our time on our Discord, so if it seems quiet here, we're probably all sequestered away in our server.
One big minus of living in the mountains was that there wasn't much food or entertainment or really anything that would attract bloblings which according to Misty prevented bloblings from actually coming to the city as surely a lot of bloblings would migrate here if there were interesting or fun things.. She needed a solution for this and she needed one as soon as possible lest she were to fail Reinala. That's when she had an epiphany. She was going to make bloblings grow various edibles and bloblings that liked to grow things were good bloblings so it was certain to attract bloblings; though she was going to need a source of warmth to actually make things grow. She paused trying to figure something out. Warm, warm and after reaching around tenth warm she finally recalled that the water in caves were hot.
She just needed to get that water flowing outside of caves which required holes from which the water could flow though since mountain was going upwards any water she was going to dig up was going to flow downwards anyways and on top of that it could perhaps go till the town and give all of the bloblings fresh water not to mention she was going to have to dig through stone which was always useful with building projects. This was like a bunch of camivians with one stone. Having been glad to actually work on a small thing again she took her first step for her project.
Her first thought was of course to use her blood though that was going to run out quicky and probably ruin the stone as well so she needed something else. Perhaps she could ask friendzy though while she was waiting for a response she couldn't stay idle. She had to come up with a different project and work on gathering for it while she was waiting for responses to come. As such she embarked on the next project. Her next project was to be the recreation of the arena though considering there was so much snow here she decided that perhaps she could make the whole thing from snow instead of sticks and rocks.
She started to happily gather up snow and hit it to slowly form the arena where bloblings were going to be bouncing for glory and rewards. Plus this was probably a healthy way to release bad impulses. After all it was better for bloblings to bounce at eachother rather than get angry and attempt to bite eachother. She was probably going to need some help with this one if she was going to finish it in time though this was simply a side project so there wasn't a hurry in finding help. Not to mention the fact that she didn't really want to actually manage bloblings for the moment.
As the building started to take shape she felt proud. She occasionally checked her friendzy though there were no new responses so she continued her work on it. She would be lying if she said she wasn't having fun playing with the snow. After all it was rather easy to shape and beating it to make it solid proved to be a rather nice stress relief. She would never advocate violence of course but the sensation of beating something to shape was invigorating not to mention the fact that it felt much easier than having to make stacks upon stack before gluing them together.
As the arena became bigger and bigger she wondered if she could use various things to paint things on the snow. Like mixing a bleeding heart fruit with snow before using it to paint two bloblings bouncing at eachother or something similar. Maybe she could even draw a dragon like Ichor mentioned to signify the glory gained from fighting in the arena. She was going to actually have to think on it for a bit rather than jumping into action but the prospect was really exciting. Maybe she could ask in friendzy for a few ideas.
As she checked her friendzy to see if she could receive any ideas she saw some responses regarding her previous inquiry. Utilizing Terreden's felt like a good idea and surely they could use some Terreden's in the city. She wondered what she could use to lure Terreden before deciding on something great. Rather than trying to lure Terreden to her and putting them to work she was just going to place food in the caves that was heated up using the natural heating and Terreden's were just going to go there, eat and then start digging. She felt really clever when she thought of this plan.
At least she had until she realized she went to the cave full of boiling water and realized she had nothing to cook except the moss. That's when she had an idea that could solve her issue though she was rather hesitant to apply it. Nevertheless she didn't really have too much of a choice. She was going to have to dry moss in order to make a container before putting snow in it and letting it melt...before putting her leaves in it. Regardless she had come this far and she wasn't going to give up simply because she had to make a small sacrifice.
The first part was relatively easy. All she had to do was to lay down the moss near the boiling water and pull it back when it was dry enough or at least it had seemed that way until she crisped several pieces of moss by keeping it there for too long. This was clearly an art and she was going to master this. If not for her sake for the sake of blobling that were not safe in the lands plagued by evil. It took some tries though luckily the moss proved to grow rather fast so she could harvest several times and actually master the art of moss cooking giving her the raw materials she needed to make her project come true.
As she mastered the art of drying moss she took on a bigger challenge. Drying moss while also working on making something. What she was doing was simple but it took a lot of finesses. She was tying dried mosses together to form a long rope which was going to form the basis of her food cauldron. She felt like perhaps the plan was getting too complicated. She was trying to make a cauldron in which she was going to melt snow in for the sake of cooking food which was going to attract Terreden which were going to dig through the rock sending the hot liquid down the mountain and spreading heat which was going to allow growing healthy plants on the land which was going to attract bloblings that like to garden and bloblinggs that like to cook.. She doubted she could even say it in one go.
As she was thinking of how long winded her plan was the moss she was drying made crackling noises causing her hands to immediately stop working trying to salvage what she could. Perhaps it was a bad idea to try to work while preparing raw material or perhaps it was time to stop thinking about stuff and give her full attention to the tasks at hand. Liking the option that involved more working being done more Misty naturally went for that one collecting replacement moss to dry before continuing her work of preparing the long rope.
