Misty was an explorer,an inventor,a brave blobling and many more things according to herself. She hadn't been around long enough for other bloblings to actually form an opinion of her though the words they would use would probably be less flattering like foolhardy or loud or something along those lines. Regardless she was determined to fit in the descriptors she had given to herself. That's why it was natural for her to study anything she saw whether it be the heart shaped stuff hanging from trees or the rocks under the sand. She had already done the rock part so it was time to approach the heart things.
Being someone who considered herself to be a genius she was obviously going to be an expert at finding the perfect specimen for her research though not having been tempered by time yet when she thought perfect she had gotten determined to find a truly perfect heart. As for how she would describe the perfect one she couldn't. She believed that when she found the perfect specimen she would just know. With that in mind she bounced forward through the area between swamp and the desert. Through her exploration talent she had determined that this area contained the most trees which meant she was highly likely to find the perfect speciment.
Despite her faith in her ability to feel the right one no matter how much she bounced through the area looking at the fruits she couldn't find the perfect one no matter how much she tried which started to frustrate the young blobling. She had been expecting to find the perfect one at the third tree at most instead of going through what felt like hundreds of trees to no avail. Her mind decided to rationalize giving up. She didn't want to waste a perfect specimen due to not knowing the properties of those hearts but she shook herself. She had decided to do this and she wasn't going to give up logic be blooped!
After what felt like days but was probably an hour at best she saw it. The perfect specimen. The perfect heart shape just hanging from the tree waiting for picking. Feeling reinvogorated she bounced towards the tree intent on climbing it quickly through as it happens bloblings weren't creatures created for climbing so after bouncing on the tree she lost her balance and forgot she could catch herself in air resulting in plopping to the ground with her face being buried in the sand. Yet she wasn't going to give up! She was going to accomplish this no matter how long it took!
What took place after that was a cartoonish sequence of her trying to climb the tree and plopping back to the ground only to turn back up and attempt to bounce upwards again only to plop back again. She felt like she was imporving with each bounce but before she could reach the third bounce perhaps due to the tree shaking due to the constant headbutting or perhaps due to the reaching maturity the fruit fell to the ground and cracked open revealing green liquid the same color as Misty's blood. She was stunned at first but then she made the connections in her mind.
These hearts contained blood,it had only fallen after she had tried to climb the tree and she was certain she heard a crying sound as the heart fell down; These hearts were tree bloblings and she had accidentally killed a blobling! She was a terrible murderer now. One every blobling feared and fled for their lives upon seeing her. She had commited an unreedemable sin but it was her duty to attempt to make amends!Even if every blobling was to hate her and see the gruesome deed she commited she couldn't flee from her sin! To make amends she decided to slowly pull the heart away from the tree intending to give it a burial though as she did so a bit of the hearts blood spilled to the ground.
Now not only was she a murderer but she was one that was insatisfied with killing that she had desecrated the body. Surely she was going to get smited when she was found out but she had to give the poor plant blobling a proper burial before she was smited. That was the only thing that she could do. Doing her best to push the two sides of the fruit back together with her head which stuck thanks to the liquid she started to slowly push not wanting to damage the dead any further. She wished she didn't have to do this but she couldn't give the poor blobling a burial in the desert.
It was an ardous process in which she was constantly afraid the blobling would break again yet she persisted. Slowly she made her way to the desert with the tree bloblings corpse. She saw afew bloblings and felt how much they were afraid of her. She would be too if she saw a blobling dragging the corpse of a person while having a bit of blood on herself though she was close. The area below her was entirely sand now so she could start burying right away. She started digging the grave with the extreme focus that came with digging.
As she finished digging a deep enough hole she lifted her head and saw a green blobling who had opened up the heart and was eating what was inside. She was frozen for a second though she forced herself to gather her courage and protect the dead bloblings body from cannibals. "Wh...what are you doing to that blobling?!" She spoke in a shaking voice. Her body was trembling as well as this was her first time seeing a cannibal blobling. "Blobling? These are fruits. They fall down and you eat them. Every blobling does that. So if you aren't eating it can i?" She was flabbergasted at first and then thought on her regret and her bounce of shame as she took around the fruit. If she had hands then she would have facepalmed but in the end she decided that she just wanted to move on and forget this ever happened. "You can have it." And with that she started her bounce of shame again but for a different reason entirely.
