THE BIRTH OF TERREA:
In the beginning... or more aptly, before the end, there were four. The Four were not exceptional in any way, at least that they could think of, but they were humans who lived on Earth. Only two of them knew each other. But despite their perceived lack of uniqueness, they did end up being the only ones left after Earth and all of the surrounding planets and galaxies experienced their End.
They opened their eyes after everything fell away and found themselves in a giant black expanse with only divinity and each other to occupy them... as well as their thoughts. They experienced the stages of grief, each in their own way, for everything they ever knew and everybody they had ever loved and all of their favourite foods and toys and books. Over time, the pain grew less sharp and they all realized that they no longer needed to eat, sleep or breathe. They also realized that they could create life.
They collaborated together on a planet, each one trying in their own way to add what they thought was important to the lives of the life they created upon it. Technology was added early on, along with every single resource that could be desired... but The Four could never agree on what sort of behaviour they should encourage. One of them wanted complete freedom for the new life, but another insisted it would be better to keep their creations from engaging in revelry and committing atrocities. The others fell in line.
But even under the rule of the most moral of them all, the planet they created together eventually met a violent end.
The Four bickered.
Something terrible happened.
The Four became The Three.
The world reset again.
When the Three opened their eyes again, they were once again in a vast blackness. There was nothing but emptiness, their memories, and a feeling of bitterness between them. The most moral of them felt guilt, the most immoral felt glee, and the one in between felt intense resentment towards the others.
The most moral of them, Themis, went off to make a crystalline planet in the distance, devoid of life.
The most immoral of them, Eris, went to go do the things Order had kept them from doing.
Ichor, the one 'in between', created a new planet. She decided that she wouldn't impose any sort of Order upon her new creations, would give them creative freedom over their surroundings, and wouldn't discourage them from being themselves. Even if that meant they would be murderers.
From nothing, Ichor created a sphere, a red atmosphere, and endless sea of sand, six evenly spaced stars, and the bloblings.
Terrea was born.
