Thoughts About A Concept
"I think I would like to go to the mountains."
Arc's sudden statement had Lain glance up to his new found friend. The strange blobling didn't often state his desires so outright, which Lain wasn't sure if he should find it concerning or not.
"Any particular reason?" The question went unanswered and Lain sighed quietly as he watched Arc get up to walk through the thick sands beneath his feet. Lain wondered if he simply just liked the sensation of burnt skin or if there was another reason Arc seemed to pride himself in showing how grounded he was.
Strange, considering Arc was the least grounded blobling Lain knew. Not that he knew many.

"There is a certain sensation I am craving," Arc finally said again after they had been travelling for about five minutes and Lain blinked in confusion. Luckily, Arc continued before he could ask. "There is something that I think I have forgotten a long time ago. I want it back. There was... a forest."
"You are imagining things," Lain mumbled, but let the other go on anyways.
"Lain, don't you think you are born for more than just to live?"
"I never thought about it,"
Lain admitted and frowned. Floating around a rather sorry looking rock, he saw Arc rub his face with his right paw. He wondered how that sensation would feel. Maybe he would like it."You should, Lain... You should." Arc sounded strangely strained and Lain had that certain worry again. Not particularly over his friend, no. It was deeper than that. A concern that tightened around himself more and more the longer he spend time with Archea. Like something was wrong, but not with Arc. Rather an overall feeling of error with the overall statement of the concept of living.
Arc himself just seemed more like something he would not want to miss anymore should the other decide to grow tired of him. It surely was troubling...
