Bloblings have noticed mysterious, gooey bloblings popping up in the world. Many bloblings are weary of them because of their resemblance to the tar from the tar pits, which have been known to eat bloblings for something called 'breakfast'.
01/10/23 Hey there!
It's October now!
We've updated the Art Prompts and Writing Prompts with some new stuff for October, as ever. It's spoooooOOOOoopy season now, and our prompts have been updated appropriately! Go take a look.
It's going to be a Bleeding Season this month! New droplets will be being born at the end of next month. Get thinking about what kinds of bloblings you want to stick into some bleeds, because the Season will be releasing within the first week of the month!
We have some fun things planned for this month, but we'll be sort of sprinkling them throughout. We hope you'll like them!
Our Discord server is invite only. Please DM Ichor or Saerfall after you've submitted your blobling claim form, and we'll send you an invite link. We spend most of our time on our Discord, so if it seems quiet here, we're probably all sequestered away in our server.
November Writing Prompt 1 - Write your blobling being thankful for something! With Tsukiko being so young - having only just awoken to the world around her - she didn't have the time to find many things to be thankful for in life. Yet, even that being said, there were still little things that she could appreciate as she tried to acclimate to this barely-understood world. Friendly Camivians, beautiful flora like the Chromillias... As much as she didn't care for the sweltering heat of the Smiley Sands, it was safe to say that there were plenty of things to adore about the world thus far.
And that was, perhaps, what Tsukiko was thankful for - that there were the little things in the world that she could enjoy, as she found her bearings and footing. It certainly made her beginnings in the desert feel a little less lonely, a little less aimless, a little less desolate. And if this was what the desert of all places had to offer, imagine what other parts of the world could offer as well..!
1.) Write a bleeding-themed poem! (1/2) Shared in blood spilt Life begets life, as always Creating anew 1.) Write a bleeding-themed poem! (2/2) Opened eyes, first breaths Ungainly limbs seek balance With longing to learn 2.) Write a physical description of your blob's house! (1/2) Tsukiko's home is two different caves in the Climate Caves - one larger and temperate and warm, one medium-sized and wintry-cold - that are linked together, through an entryway carved through a thin portion of the wall. The temperate and warm portion is dedicated to pets and guests, whereas the wintry-cold half is dedicated to Tsukiko herself. 2.) Write a physical description of your blob's house! (2/2) Altair lives in a quiet and humble house in B's village, ever since he had been born from the blood spilt during a fateful battle. Though he presents himself like a noble and a gentleman, his simplistic living doesn't very much match it - furnishing and anything of legitimate value being quite sparse. At most, one can find a few books that he likes to read, stacked up next to his bed. 3.) Write about your blobling gathering materials! Of the materials used to furnish Tsukiko's nests, the most common ones were the yarn fron Buttonberry bushes, and the puffy-soft threads of Poffdula trees, particularly purple and blue strands for her own nest. Though not many grew near the Climate Caves - likely due to other bloblings having similar ideas of using such flora for nesting - gathering was a sinch, with her sharp draconic claws aiding in carefully cutting away only as much as she needed. Having opposable thumbs helped in weaving the materials together, so that it wouldn't fall apart!
Though less commonly - due to the dragonfox being unnerved by the false distress they often give off - she also would sometimes gather the cotton-like fluff that Wheeples left behind, to add some fluffy softness to the nests.
