Reinala's nimbus drips and drips into the whiteness beneath it, colour extending outwards and saturating the cave floor... but the wound begins to stitch itself together beneath the newly applied bandages.
Heeding Diosuri's plea, the bloblings who remain burst into a cacophony of advice, much of it doused in fear. Some appear to have Themis' Godborn's best interest at heart, but particularly after the 'bully' comment is uttered, many voices descend into chirping similar labels at her.
"Bully is right!"
"If you keep doing things like this, who knows where Ichor will put you next."
"Perfection is not Order. Brute force is not Order."
"This is merely a snuffing. Nothing is learned here, nothing is gained in the long term. This is a short-term solution to a problem."
"The imposition of power over beauty. An unsightly cause."
Reinala tries to absorb everything, but even with her enhanced hearing, picking apart each blobling's impassioned cry takes a few beats. But within those few beats, more words are layered on, many of them condensing into simply telling her what she did was wrong.
"Point is, life's full of unorder, so I s'pose forcing it isn't the best."
"You're hurting her!"
"You'd be stealing. Taking every effort the creature has made to get to this moment and making it pointless."
The scaled blob attempts to pick out a course of action, to sift through the suggestions and pleas for what she should do... but she finds few attempts to direct her towards a more favourable course of action and many voices piling upon her to tell her that she is using her power unjustly, imposing order unfairly or too strictly, and that she is not considering the feelings of others.
Steely lilac eyes widen and Themis' Godborn pads backwards, one hoof and then one paw at a time, away from mouths spewing so many opinions, yet so few ways to correct her mistakes. Is that it, then? She's done a terrible thing; the glass is shattered, with no hope of reassembling it? She's gone and misused her Order-given powers again and now there's no hope of bridging the gap between herself and the bloblings?
She had been toiling away in her Temple, working dutifully to produce more bots for her White City, trying hard to make the experience as seamless and perfect as she had pictured it even while her bots were still being stolen... and then the bloblings did not invite her to resolve the mystery of her missing bots. Hers. And when she did show up, she saw a blobling rushing the Stridor, and then being intercepted by a blobling, and she was... wrong to imprison her?
"But I... I thought that..."
She had thought that when someone committed a misuse of their powers, the proper thing to do was to remove their ability to use them, regardless of whether it was an accident or not - to imprison them until their fate was decided. That was what was done...
To her.
Who was in the wrong, then? Her, or Ichor? Was her interpretation of Ichor's methods wrong, or of her message? Was it not Orderly to impose a similar punishment for a similar fault? Or did the bloblings simply not see her as one of them, and therefore it was alright to do it to her... but not so for a fellow blob?
Reinala looks down to her paws, and her crystalline hooves, her fur; she's grown like a blobling since she was first spawned, hasn't she? So why isn't she being treated like one?
It must be...
It must be...
Because she isn't one.
Since being born, Reinala has been reaching out in her own way, trying desperately to fit in. First, she wanted to know everything there was to know of Terrea, as it was a common factor tying all life upon the planet together. She didn't know using her powers to mist and rewrite life was something wrong until she had been brought in for Ichor's Trial, and Ichor and the bloblings found her Guilty of crimes she did not know were crimes. Now, she was using her powers to Protect Her Own, but just like last time she had used them, the results were not thankfulness... but trepidation, separation, a greater rift between herself and her Blobling side, and the bloblings who lived outside of her. She saw herself as simply enforcing Ichor's Rules, but they, too, seemed to be Wrong.
Between all these things, the common factor is...
Her. If Ichor's Rules aren't the thing that's wrong, the thing that's Wrong must be...
Tears form in the edges of her eyes but before they can fall, Dios is before her, two hands reaching out to touch either side of her face. When did Dioscuri separate into Dios and Curi? Had she really been spiraling so much she didn't notice?
Dios' words are soft and measured as he collects Themis' Godborn's tears with the sides of his fingers. "Shhhh. I'm sure that isn't what they meant, Reinala."
Reinala flinches at the touch, and then flicks her gaze between Dios' face and the many blobling faces behind them... and then, she disappears into a fine mist, reforming Kali and then zipping away, her nimbus staying behind to continue to cradle Avalora.
"... damn it. Curi, I'm going to follow her - I think this situation requires delicacy."
"I'm a delicacy, if you look at me right." Curi licks her lips.
"This is what I'm talking about - you joking about it like this shows me you're not suited to handle her right now. I know I've been wanting to switch Godborns with you for a long time, but I think this situation really warrants it, k?"
Curi droops. "Kk... I'll go take over with Yume for her Tour and stuff. But I was just trying to lighten the mood with the thing I said."
"Not every mood needs to be lightened, Curi. Sometimes, you must sit in the dark to be able to understand it."
"Lame. See, without you around I don't think of poetic stuff like that. You got all the poetic."
"And you got all the bloodthirst."
Curi grins, happy with that assessment. "I'm gonna miss you, thooough... with you being all, like, separate and stuff. I'm not gonna be able to think of things and have you refine stuff before it comes out of the mouth."
"You'll still be able to message me on Friendzy."
"... you knoooow Friendzy doesn't give me the bloops when you message me back because it thinks we're the same blobling..."
"So just check it even without the bloops."
"... fiiiiiiiiiiiine..."
With that, Dios gives a wave to you and the blobs around you, and then uses his hooves to descend the Mountain.
Curi turns on a heel and faces you. "Sorry 'bout that - I didn't think she was gonna get all... sad about it, but I think all of you had some really neat stuff to say. There's a lot of stuff going on in those blobby bods of yours. Saaaaaay... what do you think we should do about all that?" She redirects everyone's attention towards the Stridor, who's still sitting atop his pile and clutching it for dear life.
"I have a suggestion." Argos' metallic voice stands out against all the other sounds around you, sounding very little like the voices of the blobs or the dripping of blood. "I did not hear this being mention anything about the bots in particular being what they wished to procure; they simply wished for perfect, uninterrupted spheroids."
Curi hmmms. "What do you blobbies make of that - got any other good ideas?"

You get the sense that the Tour is coming to an end.
This is the final post you'll get to make for Reinala's Tour before the resolution is posted, and we close up Reinala's Tour for good.
