Bloblings have noticed mysterious, gooey bloblings popping up in the world. Many bloblings are weary of them because of their resemblance to the tar from the tar pits, which have been known to eat bloblings for something called 'breakfast'.
01/09/23 Hey there!
It's September now!
We've updated the Art Prompts and Writing Prompts with some new stuff for September, as ever. I can't believe we're getting so close to the end of the year. o-o
It's going to be an Evolution Phase this month! Get prepared for the blobbles of the site to grow up into a new appearance that's all their own. We look forward to seeing what you come up with for your little dudes! The new mods will be opening up art slots to complete your blobs' new artwork. aaaaaa exciting~
The mods will be putting out their reserve slots, some for the very first time! Stay tuned!
Our Discord server is invite only. Please DM Ichor or Saerfall after you've submitted your blobling claim form, and we'll send you an invite link. We spend most of our time on our Discord, so if it seems quiet here, we're probably all sequestered away in our server.
The Tour will update with a new Story Post every night at 8:00 PM EST until The Tour: Reinala has ended. ... except for on the first day. The first day will be a little different, because I shall be posting once an hour until the Intro Section is over.
Please try to post once a day, but we'll understand if you're not able to do so - the story will simply keep moving, and your blob will be assumed to be silently following along.
The results of the previous night's choices will be at the beginning of my nightly post, and the new day's story will be dispensed at the end.
You're going about your existence doing whatever it is you do while you exist, when you hear a familiar bleep within your mind - or maybe it isn't so familiar, depending on how much of a noob you are. But this time, it isn't from a message from Ichor, as it has been before. You open your mind-messaging client and it's only an Ichor-adjacent message, because it's actually Dioscuri who's invaded your inbox. A message is sitting there, unread and waiting for interaction.
The message that's impatiently awaiting your mind-eyes reads... "Heyaaaa! I finally managed to get Reinala and Yume to agree to do a tour of their homeplaces. I thought it would be a good opportunity for them to get to know everyblobby now that they've been out in the world for a while and... have literally talked to nobody but me since... eheheheh, Dios is getting literally kind of craaaaazyyyyy so like if you could come along, that would be hella. You can teleport to where I am by replying with 'I'm in'... hopefully. If I got all of this working right. I'm sort of new at all of this, so replying with 'I'm in' could actually tear you into lots of little bits and leave the you-bits strewn in teleport-space forever. Why don't you try it out and we'll see what happens? I'll almost definitely be able to rescue you. :}
Oh! And since we're touring Reinala's City first and she made a temple for Themis, I think it would get you major points if you brought some kind of gift for her. I dunno what Themises like though, so that part's up to you. Good luck! Hope to see you soon!"
Ghost very rarely ever noticed these sort of messages, from the gods, godborns, or not. Thus, when they actually saw Dioscuri's message they were pretty excited. Ghost rather liked Reinala, as a non-judgemental godborn who had simply nodded at their strangeness. Surprisingly, they even had some Themisfish from a random trade in Onyxia. They had other godfish as well, but Ghost highly doubted Reinala would appreciate having Eris or Ichorfish at the moment so they left the other godfish behind. The "I'm in" was pretty prompt and Ghost found themselves whisked away with Themisfish in tow. Hopefully they'd make some new friends!
Samyo, ever the adventurer had noticed and hopped onto the bandwagon with great excitement. He'd honestly almost forgot a present beyond bringing his copy of the manners book by his friend Wigglesworth and some of the lovely new tea plants, the cuteacup, he had fallen in love with. Maybe Reinala would like it as well? If anything else, a book written by Wigglesworth (that was lovingly copied by Samyo for his personal reference) seemed like a decent offering. If Wigglesworth, of all the bloblings Samyo had met on Terrea, was not a bastion of Order then Samyo wasn't sure any blobling could be Order aligned. Samyo chirped out an "I'm in" before flushing and replying to Dioscuri's message instead. He landed in a rather clumsy heap.
Kali was lounging at the arena keeping her chest eyes on the blobs that came through while her normal eyes gazed absent-mindedly up at the sky. Her cloud of stars was settled around her. These days she felt comfortable relaxing without much more training, and she was having trouble finding anyone who could challenge her. It was utterly boring. So when the message popped in she knew she couldn't resist the call for adventure. Kali immediately sat up straight after receiving the message. A wide grin showed brightly on her face as she reached out to Stardust who laid next to her to give them some comforting pats letting them know that she would return soon. A gift though, hmm. What could she possibly bring on such short notice? Reaching to her small bag of things she took a peek inside. All she could possibly think to bring would be some of the fish she had on her that she kept for Stardust. Would some Themis fish work as a gift? It would have to. Holding it close she replied, "I'm in"
Serenity was relaxing back in onyxia sanctuary with some of the cuteacups balanced on top of her head when she got the message. It sparked her curiosity. To be able to visit a temple of the goddess she aligned with? There was no opportunity quite like it. She knew she had to go. Although, she was hoping to see Hope or El there was well. She decided some of the flowers she had picked to have tea with would make for excellent gifts. She hesitated before responding as she briefly wondered if it was truly a good idea. She had absolutely no idea what could be waiting for her there. It seemed almost illogical to jump at this chance before she had more knowledge. Despite her worries or her best judgment, she decided that it may be well worth the risk. Whatever she faced might even help her better herself. So she responded with, "I'm in"
Ash didn't need much prompting. She was asked to go, and frankly, that was all the motivation she needed. She didn't contemplate the decision or pause to tend to business around her first. Although, the lack of specification on the mention of bringing gifts left her with no choice but to not bring anything. She had nothing she could bring. So, once she was done receiving the message she immediately responded, "I'm in"
The little ping startled Eela. She was, in fact, sort of a noob. She had never gotten involved in Flutter or Fastagram, and her knowledge of the EB was limited. Being aware of something and understand it were two very, very different things.
So the lavender blobling clapped her hands to either side of her head and dropped into a half-crouch. Her eyes widened as words filled her mind. Was this what going crazy felt like? Eela was just a stunned twig of worry until the sender more or less identified themselves. It made sense that a God-adjacent being would be able to message you directly in your head. Why not?
Reinala? The white city? Eela had righted, and she felt a sort of strange rush through her chest. It had been some time since Reinala had been asking for help. Eela hadn't known what to do in the meantime and-- yes. Oh, gods, yes. To see the shrine to Themis would be interesting. To see the Vision where she lived-- was it as beautiful as she was? All white and soft and sparkling crystals? Eela clapped her hands over her lips.
A gift! She needed a gift! There wasn't enough time to go out and forge something properly. Some sort of beautiful, ornate ferrowood something-- no time! Eela glanced to the living bouquet on her table, collected over time from the various lands she explored. She tended the flowers carefully and had kept them alive in their little glass pot of earth for weeks. She loved these plants; the sweet gallanthias and cuteacups and the cyrill star vines that grew around the neatly-placed wheeple wheat.
...cyrill star vines...
She regrettably plucked up the blue plants. They did not speak well for Order. She clutched the put to her chest and tried real hard. "I'm in." Oh, Gods, what happened now?

Dionysus thanked the Camivian that had brought him some gems from under the sands.
He now had more then a hand full of the colorful stones. He laid them down on the sand and using his wing tip on his primary he shifted through them. They all sparkled and were all so perfect. He was in the process of making a mask for himself using these colorful stones.
He would need to get more but this was a good haul. He would have to come visit his friend again. He started placing the stones one at a time in a bright green bag that he had slung around his neck. The pink horse blob, Celeste, had discovered how to make these and he had bought one from her.
He had just grabbed the last stone, which was a pretty pink gem when he was startled by a ping in his head. He dropped the jem back into the sand and read the message.
So Reinala was finally giving her tour. It would be fun to see her again.
So he took a breath and said. "I am in!" both inside his mind and out loud.
And disappeared. The little pink gem left twinkling in the sands.
Draco watched as the brown blob put the gems in his bag. "I don't think he's going to give them up very easily" He whispered to Missy who was crouched next to him. Missy just looked at him and then started cleaning her claws.
"Yeah, Yeah. You will have it all taken care of"
It was at this point that Draco felt/heard a bleep in his head. And he guessed the other one heard it too as he startled. He absentmindedly opened up the message but before he could read he got distracted when the other one dropped the gem.
Then the other blob shouted "I am in" and disappeared.
'That was weird.' He and Missy trotted over to where the blob was. Draco bent down and picked up the sparkly pink gem. It was small.
"What do you think he meant by "I am in?" Draco asked his mind echoing what he just said.
Draco disappeared and Missy was left in the endless sandbox. She poked at the sand where Draco was and with a scowl on her face she decided that she would wait to see if he showed up. So she curled up and waited.

Vinum was doodling ideas on Papyrill paper for drinks when a notification pinged in her mind. The message she then read got her excited. The problem was, she was so held up getting plants, materials, and writing drink ideas down throughout her days living, that she couldn't even think of a gift. Her mind immediatly went to drinks, of course, and she hastily grabbed a prototype cup she had been working on. The glass was a little warped and wobbly, but it would do. As she was already in Onyxia city, it was simple to grab several Cyrill Star Orbs outside the gates. She ran quickly over to a Ferrowood tree and hastily shoved some Orbs up against the hot bark. Some of the orbs began having pink hues. The rest that didn't she left on the ground, too caught up in thought to bring them with. Vinum rushed back to her little campout, a tent of Chromilla leaves in a corner of the city where few looked. She crushed the fruit into the glass cup. Then, to add more flavor to the boring juice, she pricked her claw to let her spearmint flavored gel into the mix.
Happy with her rushed gift, she clutched the blue drink in her claws and loudly squeaked out, "I'm in!" not even thinking about the chance of being torn into nothingness. No chance she would pass up advertising the bartending business she hoped to do.
Everard winced at the sudden bleep, clutching his head. What was going on? The odd interface in his mind confused him greatly. It took him a good bit of thinking and focus to adjust to it, and even then it was incredibly unusual to him. Still, he had been looking for a quest, and this served the purpose as well as anything. He had been testing out metalworking for a little bit. It was.. odd, in some way, though he couldn't place why.. something told him metal wasn't supposed to be like that. Still, he had heard bits and pieces here and there about the gods and godborns, so he decided to fashion from the metal a fox, as quickly as he could. Patting his vulkiln on the head and taking a deep breath, Everard replied, "I'm in!"

The ping in her mind from Dioscuri was honestly more than welcome. Both simply because it was Dioscuri and also because- with Velvet away on another trip to the meowler pens- Violet had decided to rampage about the apartment in an odd game with Velvet's assistant. It mostly consisted of Violet making a mess, the assistant cleaning the mess, and Violet making the task more complicated for them and Ava just.... It required no thought or second guessing. She had been looking for an excuse to reach out to Dioscuri again anyway. Even with the rather disconcerting chance of being torn to bits- "I'm in." And she left the chaos behind.
Unfortunately, that did mean she hadn't grabbed a gift.

|| Alistair ||
Alistair hadn't truly been expecting the ping to his brain when he got it, as he wasn't born too long ago, though as a blobbling his sense of time was admittedly somewhat skewed, he did not hold much of a remembrance for this sort of event. Granted, he did recall perhaps.. something similar? Very shortly after he was birthed into this strange world. A grand event of sorts, a great gathering of bobblings.. and one particular blob he had a great curiosity and fascination toward. A blobling that seemed to hold a strange amount of power. It took him quite the difficult moment of intense concentration for him to really tap into the message, and lo and behold, a familiar.. voice? typing pattern? This system was.. weird and hard to understand right away. He honestly felt disorientated, but regardless, it seemed very similar to the only other occurrence he really had witness of this at all. A familiar voice.. and an intriguing proposition. A proposition that he'd perhaps be able to see this mysterious blobbling once more- as well as to meet other new blobblings. He had talked to blobblings in passing before, but he couldn't really call any of them his friends, so maybe.. this was his chance to make them? He was unsure about the being obliterated into space thing but hey, that would be a pretty neat way to go out huh? Cool and mysterious, exactly as he liked it. Besides, why not go out by the wickedest looking blob you've ever seen?
Then there posed another problem. A gift.. Alistair didn't really have anything he considered.. his own. Not yet anyways, he was far too busy traveling and trying to get a grasp on this great big puzzle that was this world. The new things cropping up around him left him slightly startled, but ever intrigued. That's where he was right now, traveling as he always was. The tiny blob had come far! Especially since he was determined and even grew new parts recently! ...Unfortunately it wasn't anything that could really help his travels, but hey it was tiny blobby bounces in the right direction. Just.. what would Themis like? He was in the swamp right now.. the whole place was.. wet and humming with a certain kind of energy. With a quick glance around- his eyes landed on the strange white flowers growing at the base of some of the trees. Well, it was white, themis was white in color, so it was a good order color right? Galan.. something-or-another was what they were called right? Yeah. Something. Ah well, they would have to do. He was pick to pick at some of the stems of this strange white flowers before bouncing back. Now to figure out how to reply.. once again, with some concentration [ and admittedly repeating the sentence in his mind quite a few times until he figured it out ], he finally managed to get a grasp on this whole thing and the message was sent. He. Was. In.
The story ends for you if you don't respond with the pre-written phrase. Sending Dioscuri concerned messages about the whole 'scattered bodily chunks' bit nets you no reply. But if you do reply with...
As soon as the EB registers your words, everything in your field of vision condenses into one tiny, singular speck and you're suddenly being catapulted through complete darkness, in no discernible direction. It's an odd feeling, being literally tugged through space, forced from one space to another in so little time... it's almost like a friend is dragging you around by the hand, except the friend is riding a rocket ship that goes at the speed of light. You're p sure you're going fast as hell, but there are no landmarks to help you suss out just how fast; there are no smells here, and the only sound is the ringing that begins when there are no sounds. It is not a comfortable sensation.
But as quickly as the strange event began, it ends. You blink your eyes and you're in a field of baby blue and, mercifully, you can feel cushiony moss beneath you. The cold makes itself known upon your skin and it becomes obvious that you're in the Mountains.
Except instead of seeing any actual mountains, all you see is a massive white wall. It's made of some kind of glossy stone and you can tell just by looking at it that it's nigh unbreakable, with no pores or blemishes of any kind. It's a smooth, uninterrupted plane of cool, marble-like rock jutting out of the moss with a set of doors in the middle of it all. The doors also look sturdy as hell, if you were wondering.
An individual is standing, rigid, to the left of the doors. They're unlike anything you've seen before; their skin is metallic and smooth, and they stand as still as the rocks around you. They appear to be lifeless, and yet they're definitely being-shaped. They have eyes that are in the closed position, arms that are laying at their sides and legs that are modular and capable of bending.
Reinala's giant white city is a familiar sight for Ghost, having been here before. It's nice being back, although confusing that no godborns are anywhere to be found. It's ok though, they float up slowly towards the individual standing to the side of the doors, making their approach known. Ghost hesitates, uncomfortably, suddenly struck by the fact that they could not speak to get this individual's attention. It's quite a conundrum and Ghost does their best by trying to draw air through their hollow head, creating a soft whistling wind-like noise. Pulling out the papyrill they carry on their person for this purpose alone, Ghost writes, "Excuse me, have you seen Dioscuri or Reinala?" and holds it out towards the other being. They hold the Themisfish carefully in their other set of arms, gifts and intent clear.
Samyo, on the other hand, lands in a completely ungraceful heap, barely holding his prized possession (Wiggles' book) above his head as he meets the ground face first. He isn't sure what to do considering there isn't much of a crowd yet, as he actually seems early and the event has yet to start. Dusting himself off, Samyo waves cheerfully at the individual standing rigidly by the doors.
"Heeey! I'm here to see Reinala and I brought a gift!"
Samyo starts blushing as he rethinks his gift. It seems kind of stupid all of a sudden, bringing his own well-loved, personal copy of "Mindful Manners for You and Me" that he'd copied for himself from the Onyxian library for Reinala, the godborn of Order. But it was too late to back out now. He sheepishly holds up the book.

If she had needed to breathe, Eela would have gasped. The world became a speck and the speck was consumed by darkness. All of a sudden, being torn to pieces and pitched into the abyss felt like a real possibility. She closed her eyes hard against the darkness (looking inward felt less horrible) and curled into a fetal position around the shape of her glass pot.
Just as suddenly as the tugging sensation had begun, Eela found herself landing on her rear in a field of cushiony moss. She opened her eyes to see the familiar mountains. Well. This part wasn't familiar. The purple blobling pushed herself up with one hand before she stooped to pick up her pot again.
As ever, Eela observed. She approached the wall with caution. Though she wanted to touch it, she didn't dare. She might have tried a door if the sentinel stood nearby didn't seem like they would spring to life at any moment. Eela occupied her hands with her gift so she didn't get all of them killed (potentially). Instead, she approached one of the sentinels and peered up at it.
She looked around her at the other blobs. She smiled softly.
"Has anyone... seen one of these before?" Eela crouched to inspect the sentinel's knees. They certainly looked like they could move, and they hadn't crusted or rusted in place. She stood again and peered up at the sentinel's face.
A beautiful, hollow song filled the air, and Eela smiled to the odd, eyeless, floating blobling. She craned her neck to see their message. Well. That blobling seemed to know something she didn't. Maybe the sentinels' eyes weren't eyes. Maybe they could see some other way. How would she know?

Kali let out a yelp of surprise and exhilaration while being dragged through space. It was terrifying and yet so incredibly exciting! Landing in the moss both of her sets of eyes rapidly glanced around instinctively scanning for danger. When she was satisfied that there was no immediate threat she began scanning the wall. How peculiar and yet somehow boring. Feeling brave from her sparing matches in the arena she casually approaches the strange being. This place was surely the right one as it screamed order.
Serenity felt sick to her stomach as she traveled. Oh this was so very terribly a bad decision. What had she done?! Still shaking as she landed she was comforted by the white wall. Quickly regaining her composure she was at least sure that this was the place. It was so pristine and beautiful it left her awestruck. She floated gently ever so slightly closer staying cautious. She decided it would be best to wait for someone to tell her where to go or at least wait until other blobs made the first move.
Ash felt nothing as she moved and no fear as she landed. Standing still she waited for someone to tell her where they wanted her to go.

" I'm in. " Echoed in Alistair's mind for a moment as the message went out- and the next thing he knew was the very rushed sensation, only a few minutes of blackness and he began to worry he had fallen asleep and was falling somehow- if that was.. possible for a blob? Sleep was a thing he had done occasionally, but he never fell asleep without actually trying to do so before. That was concerning, but the next thing he was aware of other than the rushing sensation was that of the sudden chill and stillness. When he blinked open the eyes he wasn't even aware had closed- he found himself facing a large.. white.. wall? Where was Dioscuri? With a quick examination he found they were no where to be found, though they had to be careful not to drop their planty-gift. The sudden rush left his little blobby feeling tingly, and overall, disorientated. Though this weird odd.. creature was standing in front of a.. door? In the fields upon fields of blue. The sudden thought that perhaps he wasn't supposed to be here ran through his tiny blob head but.. he had to at least do something right? Dioscuri brought him here, and if this wasn't where he was supposed to be, surely they would come and get him right? Right. So next step was approaching this creature and all the rest of the blobs that seemed to have gathered.
" Sorry to intrude, but I was sent here by Dioscuri. This.. seems to be the mountains yes? Is this where I am supposed to be? " Well, he was hoping at least one blob or this creature knew what was actually going on here. Even if the creature seemed.. still. Uncomfortably still. Was this thing actually even alive? Maybe he should.. knock on the door or something? Would that be rude? He sure hoped not. He didn't want to upset dioscuri so soon. He glanced between the other blobs, well, at least he wasn't the only one to speak up?
