Tsarina hopped through the Smiley Sands, softly humming to herself. She had snuck out again, because her parents were asleep and she was lonely. So at first, she was looking for someone to talk to, but now she was just zoning out again. She was told not to, but she didn’t exactly want to give it up. It made her feel better.
She bounced into something face first, then fell into the ground. She checked herself to make sure she wasn’t bleeding. She definitely was. She had a few small cuts and bruises here and there, but she didn’t mind it too much. She looked up at what she hit, and to her surprise, it was almost completely white. She looked up, and it had almost white petals. This was a chromillia. She didn’t know chromillias could get this… Pale.
Time to investigate. She remembered that these things had a face. She flew up as high as she could, and stared down at its face. It looked really sad. That made her sad. She said, “Don’t be sad! Hi! I’m Tsarina! Smile!” but it wasn’t really working that well. She could swear she saw some of its color come back, though. She flew back down to the ground and started humming the song she didn’t know the name of to it. It started humming along, and she flicked her tongue. This was working! Its color was coming back! She started chirping as she continued to hum, and she wrapped her wings around its large trunk to the best of her ability. She started saying “I love you!” to it over and over, and she was practically vibrating. This was her new friend! This nice flower or tree friend! She loved it!
She started getting really tired, and she continued humming, though she nestled herself into its roots. Her humming got quieter, until finally, she ended up falling asleep.
