Eela had stopped to do some serious thinking after dropping the Themisfish off with the Beautiful Vision at the Marble City. Some bloblings were going to be upset at the idea of their deity's fish being eaten or otherwise killed for use. That was unavoidable. Even some followers of Eris might get a bit blustery if a non-follower ate an Erisfish... maybe. She thought that Eris himself might prefer the chaos of what was, apparently, a completely random set of flavors. She thought that Ichor might be alright with her fish giving life. Life and Blood... right? That made sense, even if her followers balked at it.
It was with a slightly altered version of her entire haul that Eela brought to the Meowler pens. There were nine Ichorfish, one Kissfish, and one single Erisfish, in the hopes that it tasted like something absolutely wonderful. At worst, it would be entirely overpowered by the flavor of the other foods.
"Damazi!" Eela called. She was positively beaming. Though Twilly was liable to be her very best, very only Meowler, Eela absolutely loved the creatures. She would do anything in her power to help their lives be better. Were there jobs available at the stables, Eela would have gladly mucked the stalls and socialized the Meowlers. Instead, she had this.
"You were asking for these?" Over two days, Eela had gathered more than enough fish to offer to Damazi. She would continue to bring them, as they were needed, too. Giggling, Eela followed Damaz's directions on where to bring the fish for processing. Did it hurt a little to see these living creatures, knowing they were going to become food? Yes. Of course it did. That didn't mean that sacrifices didn't have to be made. Meowlers needed fish to be bealthy and happy, just like bloblings needed the plants of the earth live well. It was the cycle of life and... and death, she supposed. It sure made one consider their own mortality, in that there may well be blobling mortality. Oh no...
