After Reinala dismissed him, Dionysus spread his wings and lept into the red sky. Flying always gave him pleasure. As he flew he got to thinking. How was he going to get these papyrill bark and poffdula pods back to Reinala? He could fly back and forth a lot. But he did not know what condition papyrill bark was going to be in when he got back. If he held it in his beak and they were buffered by the wind they would be all crinkled up and useless to Reinala. Maybe when he got to the city there will be something there that would help. In the mean time he was going to just enjoy the flight. He knew he had crossed over the mountains and into the swamp, when the rains hit, and the ground beneath him was no longer snow and rock but had turned a muddy green. He had only been at the city once. He flew on and on. At one point he had to rest in a bleeding heart tree. He thought about eating one of the fruits but thought better of it. It would do no good if he got his energy boast only to fall out of the sky when he 'crashed' So he just rested. Then he flew on. Finally he got close enough to the city to see the black tower spires.
He landed nearby and walked the rest of the way.
Inside he saw two tall massive buildings One seemed to have no roof and the other had a black coned roof and in between them and to one side was a forest of the papyrill trees. He noticed that there were two poffdula trees next to smaller towers.
So the materiels he was looking for were here.
He inspected the papyrill bark and the pen leaves. How was he going to return them to Reinala?
He stood looking at the tree trying to come up with inspiration when a lovely pink pony blob came trotting up to him.
"Hey there. You look like you need some help." She said.
"Yeah, you could say that. I need to get a bunch of these paprills and poffdula pods back to the mountains and I really don't want to be flying back and forth a whole bunch of times." He answered.
"Oh. Well I might just have the answer." And she was gone.
Dionysus felt awkward, was he supposed to follow or wait. But before long she was back. Carrying two orange woven bags.
"Here, these might help." She handed them to him and then left before he could thank her. Or get her name.
He put the two bags over his head and put the papyrill bark and a couple of the pens in one bag. Then he went and got the pods and put them in the second bag.
He had to adjust his flying to the weight around his neck but he soon got the hang of it. It took a little longer to get back to Reinala.
"Here you are Lady Reinala" Dionysus said as he set the bags down at her feet.
