Notes: I am still soooo good at titles!
Corvid didn’t feel good.
He only felt anxiety and uncertainty. Why did he have to choose? All of the gods were… Gods. While Themis didn’t really resonate with him, he felt connected strongly to both Ichor and Eris. He had chosen Ichor, because that seemed like the most logical choice. Seeing Ichor and Eris fight at the Colorwave Coasts and Dampwater Depths hurt him, and tore the two parts of him even further.
Corvid received a small peck on the side. He glanced over to Plumage, whose gems were now a purple-blue. A calming sensation washed over Corvid, though it wasn’t enough to really help him.
“Thank you, Plumage,” he silently whispered.
Plumage wrapped their wing around Corvid reassuringly.
“Plumage? Let’s go to the Smiley Sands. I bet you miss it there, huh?”
Plumage nodded happily, and started to walk in the direction of the Smiley Sands. Corvid rolled after them, hoping that spending time with Plumage would help ease his mind.
They finally made it to the Smiley sands after a long while. Plumage started digging for gems first thing. Corvid smiled at Plumage as she grabbed a gem and ate it. While cave gems were good to them, he bet that Plumage much preferred Smiley Sand gems.
Something else caught his attention though. A… Blobling? It looked like a blobling. It was sitting under a Chromillia, seemingly just chilling. The blobling(?) nodded at Corvid, and for a moment, Corvid felt welcomed. Corvid sighed, and rolled over to Green.
“I suppose you realize I’m upset?”
Green nodded.
“Well, I guess I could tell you about my issues. It’s not… That important though.” Corvid took a deep breath. “I’m just… Confused. You know about the Gods, correct? Well, I went with Ichor when I had to choose, but I feel split between her and Eris. It feels like I belong to both, but… I can’t choose both, and I have to choose just one. And it hurts.”
Green made some reassuring nods and smiles, but otherwise, didn’t really talk.
“Well… Alright. Thank you for letting me talk. I don’t really want to get super in depth, and I came here for Plumage, not myself. I should spend time with them. Goodbye.”
Green nodded a goodbye, and Corvid rolled back to Plumage and helped them dig for gems the best he could.
