Mudpuppy was sitting at the counter, a notepad and quill before her with her fingers crossed.
"Oh thank Gun! It's unit 7-1!" Facebaby had said half an hour before, bouncing ideas off her. The new shop needed a tag line or catch phrase - all the other stores were doing it.
"What's 'gun'?" Mudpuppy asked the proprietor and founder of 7-1.
"It's like updog."
"Okay?" she puffed out her fins. "What's updog?"
Laughing itself silly, Facebaby left her to her daily duties. Which, according to her notes, were:
-Greet Customers
-Explain mission statement
-Up-sell ad-ons
She never got an explanation on what 'updog' was so she had to assume it was the same as 'up-sell.'
The mission statement however was this:
"We bring the community together by showcasing new and beloved talent alike so that images and objects can be shared with the world when they come to this meeting place: Unit 7-1!"
She was reading this over and over to herself when someone dropped in.
