Somehow Make Manners Out of You

Wigglesworth had thought the hardest part was putting up the signs, but no - The hardest part was waiting for someone interested in taking the class he had worked so diligently to prepare! Still, he would not let this time go to waste. Indeed, he would simply begin work on his new book: Mindful Manners for You and Me. But lo and behold, no sooner had he put quill to papyrill when a potential student arrived!

Wigglesworth stood up as straight as he could for a blobling with no legs or much of a body to speak of.

"Ah, yes, come in, come in. Welcome! I am Gentleblob Wigglesworth, and this is..." He trailed off and fell silent upon seeing the yellow worm blobling take a seat not on the chair but upon the table.

"Oh my, oh dear," he said, worriedly. He cleared his throat to begin correcting the poor misguided soul when...

The esteemed pink gentleblobling gave a revolted shiver when he saw the big, fat glow grape tumble out of the yellow worm blobling's mouth and onto the previously clean and saliva-free table.

Horror upon horrors! Wigglesworth's jaw would have dropped at this point, but that would've been bad manners, and so he managed to refrain. His eyes wide and sparking with disapproval.

And then, AND THEN- The atrocious-mannered blobling had the gall to start sucking on the skin of the glow grape with more noise than a whole horde of bloblings performing construction!

"Most unorthodox," he whispered, horrified.

He shook his blobby body and gave a few quick bounces over to the yellow worm. "I say, ah, my-"

Wigglesworth felt a bit strained and managed a short smile. "My very-much-in-need fellow, it seems you, hm, you have come to my class. No doubt out of a - hopefully - strong desire to be educated."

He cleared his throat or what would have counted as his throat since he technically did not have a neck.

"Please allow me to begin your education. You see, one does not sit one's blobby derriere upon the table but upon the chair - Allow me to demonstrate."

Wigglesworth bounced lightly over to a chair, then hopped gently upon it. "See? Quite nice. Much more comfy and suitable for civilized bloblings like ourselves. Now, you try."

Andara floats by casually, he had been bored so he had gone to the library to pass time and see if any new books had been written. He lazily floats by glancing at the sign someone had put up in the library. Peering past the sign, he watched chaos as what seemed to be the instructor attempting to teach their student blobling who...had hacked out a giant glow grape...in what seemed to be an etiquette class.

Well...this looked amusing to say at the least. Andara lazily waved at the instructor as he floated into the classroom, settling into a plush chair.

Facebaby watched Wigglesworth talk with the level of interest a simple-minded animal gives a novel object in their usual enclosure at the zoo, its jaw slack and its whole head bobbing whenever Wigglesworth moved a little.

When Wigglesworth stopped speaking, a moment hung, fragile, in the air. Facebaby leaned forwards, enraptured, its sharp teeth barely touching at the tips. Then it spake.

"Can we set our own Zoom Usernames?" It wanted its username to be Pearl Vision.
