The tumbling soup of emotion had gently faded out of Caspen's mind, and they had what they thought was a dream. It was nice. Groggily wading their mind back to the library, they felt cold and uncomfortable. Something was dripping. There was a sharp pang of fear: Wet. There's wet all over my body. I didn't try again, did I? Am I dying? What did I do? Flailing their limbs in chaos, they looked down at themself, trying to assess the damage. It was purple, yellow, and dark blue, green, red, and orange. Not blood.
Team bonding was apparently shown in the form of artistic scribbles in ink, and a sleeping canvas was perfect for practice. A rainbow cacophony featuring meowlers, swirls, and scribbles was absolutely everywhere. Most importantly, Kip was back and apologetic, for what they still had no idea, and so was Evrah. Evrah. They would either find an understanding or never see each other again. A basic blob was there too! Hah, Caspen wasn't the newest member anymore, not counting the fact they weren't a member at all.
Kip raised an interesting idea, and although they felt they couldn't be taken seriously while in paint, they offered a tweak: "Well, uh,, I don't think it should be Evrah's handle either. After that murderer fiasco,," they continued, avoiding as much eye contact as possible. "It would be neat to employ your services,, but not to purposefully seek out ferals. That messed me up pretty bad. I would be fine with,, docile things! Like making and breaking. Creating. Uh,, I'm going to try to use my legs. Be right back." Waddling gently out the door, they headed for a distant cluster of what looked like blue. They were afraid if they had to see those creatures again, they would act again. Harm again. That could be seen to later.
Right now, it was time for some new food.
