Part 1: discord log of Zachrin & Vix hashing out personalities for the new babs
Zachrin
"Ohhey! You got wings like me and my-" "Bar? What's a bar?" "WOW, you're tall!"
Valesh had already broken away from his parents and siblings (but not too far yet), bounding down the busy street, his six eyes wide with excitement. He snapped from blob to blob, exclaiming about some new feature he had never seen or words he'd never heard before, absorbing the atmosphere. "What'syourname? Mine's Val!"
Meanwhile, somewhere behind Kip and Evrah, another blob was whimpering. Vindayr was curled into as tight of a ball as they could, large purple wings shaking and 'hiding' as much of them as possible. Wide pink eyes darted across the various blobs and buildings, but unlike Val's child-like excitement, Vin's showed nothing but panic. Loud noises. Wide open spaces. No ceiling above, the sky stretching to infinity. It was too much for the new blob to handle. They instinctively pulled their head-wing's closer, trying desperately to cover their ears and eyes & shut out the sensory overload.

Kivrin had been trying to look at everything but there was just so much of it! He'd look one way and something else would be going on somewhere else and it was hard to keep up with but he was determined to try. His long tail wagged along behind him in a hesitantly excited way as he kept backing up in circles trying to get everything in view. It wasn't working but he was still trying until something touched him! Yelping he bounced forward and bolted away from the thing without looking. With some quick scrabbling Kiv darted past his parents and hunkered down beside the other shivering sibling with the vague thought that 'If they're hiding there it must be safe.'
"What..." Evrah looked about at the four little blobs that were suspiciously similar to both himself and Kip. "What did you just have us do Kiparian?"
Zachrin
Kip stared wide-eyed at the...spectacle in front of him. "Ah...I HAVE NO IDEA!" He shouted in surprise to Evrah. "That book didn't mention nothin' like this at all!"
"AhhAHH!" At the loud yelp and the gallop of rushing paws, Vindayr curled up tighter (somehow) and cried out rather pathetically. Nothing was making sense. The world was too big, too loud. They drew short panicked breaths, waiting for something bad to happen. But nothing did. Slowly, Vin moved their right earwing and revealed an eye, floppy ear and marking. A suspiciously similar marking to almost everyone else's, though they didn't know it yet. "Y...you..." At the moment, the multi-eyed blob looked almost as scared as Vin felt. Maybe...maybe they were feeling something similar? "...You alright...?" Vin finally asked in a light, shaky voice.
"Ohyeah I feel great!" Valesh came bounding back to his siblings, jumping and trying to test his wings (both on his back, and on his head). The sudden sound caused Vin to flinch, hiding his eyes again.
"Hellohi, how is everyone? My name's Val! This is so weird but so exciting!" The fluffy speckled 'dog' trotted between the three other new bloblings, a different set of eyes trained on each. He realized that he didn't need to breathe, and chained together words and sentences far faster than was necessary. Notably, he seemed very focused on his three siblings, and didn't seem to give Kip and Evrah much regard right that second.
"I...uhh..." Kip eyed between the 'children', and Evrah, back and forth. "...Ah think I'm gonna jus' wait 'n see how this bakes out."
Vixeona
Evrah just looked down his snout at Kip like he was insulted by him somehow. Then, after a good moment passed, turned to see how this bakes out as well. He wanted to demand that Kip take responsibility and yet... that would mean he would need to as well.
Kivrin, who's ear-wings fell limply on either side of his head, looked over at the sibling he had taken cover beside. "Nnn I thi- eep!" Kiv, who had started to relax from his position when nothing had chased after him, threw himself back down as Val made his loud return and introduction.
Van, tilted his head at Vel's energy. This one seemed especially exuberant when compared to the two that were huddled on the ground. "Hello Val." Van bobbed his head in greeting his tone mild and words a bit slower as if to compensate for the speed Val had used. "I am well, though I feel it may be appreciated if you ... calm yourself a bit." She glanced over at the other two huddled blobs to indicate why. "I am Vanadium. You may call me Van or Vana."
Kiv, realizing that this bout of sudden loudness was also not threatening, eased out of their crouch again. "A-ah... Hi um," Introductions right? He could do that, though the bundle of fluff and fur beside him had spoken first so he turned to them. "I'm good? I'm good." He said it twice as if he were checking with himself. His tone calming the more he spoke and becoming a calm cheerful as he relaxed further. "Are you okay? Oh, and I'm Kiv... or Rin or Kivrin? Yeah, just Kiv."
Zachrin
Val stopped bouncing and took a moment to transition to fidgiting, nodding his head and smiling brightly. "Yeah, understood. Nice to meet you, Vana." His voice almost sounded strained as he slowed his pace, but he was trying!
Trying for who? he shifted focus to his other pairs of eyes, noting the blobs laying on the ground. A whimper from one. All six eyes snapped to attention on the fetal blob, and Val slowly approached, reaching out a single paw to lighty touch a wing.
On the ground, Vins head shook. "I...I don't know. I dunno where I am, or...what this is or wh-who I am or...." Their voice grew weaker as they went on, tears starting to well up in the corners of their eyes. Eventually, Vin stopped talking, closing their eyes and choking to let a tear fall. Only lightly wincing away from Val's touch before leaning towards it.
Panicking wasn't helping. They tried to focus, to think. None of these things had tried to harm them, and seemed friendly enough. They even offered physical comfort, the one named Val. A name came to mind. They slowly opened their eyes again to focus on Kiv, and relaxed in their fetal ball just as slowly. "Vindayr...my name's Vindayr, I think." They spoke at length. "H-hey, Kivrin."

Vana's heart melted as the smallest one's distress turned to tears and slowly, so as not to alarm the other two more easily startled blobs, imposed herself between them and the majority of the crowd. She kept one pair of eyes scanning as a lookout while the other pair kept to their little group. "I am afraid I do not have much insight myself..." Vana admited before turning her head to a random blob who had paused to look at them. She didn't say anything to this stranger- this blob didn't look anything like the four of them. She just stared at them quietly, head tilted in a suspiciously familiar way to what Evrah had just done to Kip minus the glare. The blob fidgetted under her gaze and then finally moved on.
As Vana turned her head back to the group Kiv was replying to Vin with a shy smile and tone, "Hi~" His long tail hesitantly wagged behind him. So these other people were Val, Van and Vindah... Vin. Hey! They all started with V! Was... was it weird then, that his didn't? No, it- it was probably fine. His still had a V too after all. Then he backtracked a moment, where were they indeed? There were lotsa people and buildings and things. "I...don't really know where we are either..." He shrank a little at the realization before shaking himself a bit, "But we're here together aren't we? So... that's- well at least we got eachother right?" It wasn't much but at least they weren't alone and the people passing by were mostly ignoring the four of them.
Zachrin
They...they all had wings. And looked so much like him and Evrah: two moreso him, and 2 Ev. All speckled, too. One didn't have ears but a marking, and the one without the marking had...smiley faces for speckles? Kip's head slowly turned back and forth, eventually making sense of it all. Did...they make these four? That hadn't been his intent, but...he did admit he was intrigued!
"...So Kiv, Vin, Val, and Van." Kip's head finally straightened as his voice rumbled out, drawing Valesh and Vindayr's attention. They both came to the same realization, that these two were their...parents? Vin relaxed just a little more, drawing his wings back and scooting closer to Val, Van and Kiv.
"Heywhoar...So who are you?" Val asked, keeping a paw on Vin and eyeing them both quizzically.
"I, uhh, I'm Kip, and this is Evrah." The pup pointed to himself and the snakeblob in turn, the cut on his paw already completely healed. "And we...we made ya, I think? Gahhh, is this awkward for y'all? 'Cause this is awkward for me."
Vixeona
"Kiparian." Evrah corrected reflexively in a flat tone, then elaborated, "His name is Kiparian, he goes by Kip." Deep breath. This was fine. Everything was fine. They just accidentally had children and there was no undoing that, but that was fine. He remembered when he and his siblings were born. It was a bit confusing and they hadn't needed to deal with an audience. It was fine. Minor emotional breakdowns and then he left and it was fine. Vindayr was the one that looked most likely to be the one to have a breakdown in this group. But what to do about any of this?
As Evrah was still situating himself under the scrutiny of the four new blobs Kiv huddled in closer to Vin. His eyes widened a bit as he started to worry. He didn't completely understand everything, but these were their parents right? The term 'parents' to him meant 'love' or something like that... but these two... the one- Evrah- seemed almost indifferent and the other one- Kipa... Kip. Well he seemed friendly but- they were awkward? Where the four of them doing something wrong? Did these two not want them? The pup practically wilted back to the ground. Though he didn't say anything, for fear of causing trouble, the two sets of puppy eyes spoke volumes of the downward spiral going on in his head. Kiv decided he would just stay still and maybe that would be better? It would be fine. He just wouldn't do anything to make it worse and it would be fine.
Vana looked between the various reactions going through the entire group with concern. Their parents were most certainly not prepaired for this. He stood with a sigh and spoke gently to Kip and Evrah. "Perhaps this-" He gestured to the populated area they were in with a head bob, "- is not the most ideal location for this? Is there some other location we might go? More private?"
That seemed to snap Evrah out of his own head. "Yes. Yes, that would be ideal." He bobbed his own head in agreement still feeling terribly off balance. They were close enough to the residential area, they could borrow an empty room there and ... figure this out. "Okay then if you'll follow-," He eyed Kiv and Vin and awkwardly added, "Are you two.. do you... need a lift?"

Van was making perfect sense. This probably wasn't the place to have this conversation, and calmly offered some alternative. Oh gods, Kip thought, it's Ev. No doubt about it, these were their kids. Val seemed excitable but friendly, Vin was scared but seemed to be calming down, and Kiv...looked like a wreck, the multi puppy dog eyes telling Kip exactly what he was going through. ...oh gods, it's me. He couldn't leave them like this: he had to do something to help.
"Hey...hey now. It's gonna be ok." Kip got close to Kiv and Vin, voice lowering to be as calming as he could. Speaking more towards the two panicked blobs on the ground, but his words were meant for everyone. "I can't lie, this, uhh...it wasn't planned. But, we'll figure it out together." As he spoke, Kip scooted a little closer, giving both Kiv and Vin a pat on the cheek (that Vin leaned into, even after the paw left their face). "A'ight then." The pup continued as he got up, offering a friendly nudge with his head towards Val and Van (Val returned a friendly bonk to Kip's forehead) as he started trotting behind Evrah. "If y'all wanna talk 'bout this, let's get somewhere more private."
For his part, Valseh understood exactly what was going on. Somehow, Kip and Evrah had 'accidentally' made them, and weren't sure how to handle it. And that was ok! Val...almost didn't care! The city around him was vast, loud and full of things to learn and explore, and the multi-eyed blob couldn't wait to start. But...he was also concerned for his siblings. Vana seemed to be taking this in stride like he was, but Kiv and Vin...especially Kiv, after the realization that this was an accident. He didn't want to leave them, at least not yet!
"It's like ya said, Kiv!" Val spoke up, gently rubbing Vin's wing before taking his paw off, trying to nestle himself between the two for a moment. "We're allinthis together! We've goteachotherso let's try and take it one step attatime." A quick nuzzle to both of them, and he got up again (wings flapping to help him stand up) to trot over to Van, offering a nudge to them as well. "Ok Vana, letsgetgoing!"
.
Vin had calmed down significantly, collecting their thoughts as everyone spoke. Ok, ok...this wasn't planned by them. But they want to help. Everyone seems nice. Let's see where this goes. Vin was incredibly receptive to the physical affection: they leaned into Kip's gentle pat of reassurance, and nuzzled along with Val's temporary cuddle. Maybe...maybe this was going to be alright. They eventually stood up for possibly the first time, giving their legs and wings a great stretch (headwings still held close to their ears and eyes, prepared if anything were to happen) before looking over at Evrah. "I...I think I want to walk on my own. But thanks." Kiv was still on the ground, and Vin kneeled down, fluffy tail starting to gently wag. "Do you need help, Kiv?"
Vixeona
The slight glistening that Kiv's eyes had been doing calmed as each member of this new family chipped in their own versions of support. His tail couldn't help but wag, especially when nuzzles and pats were involved. He appreciated it, completely, but now he was worried that he had made them all worry. He was okay! It was okay! "Y-yeah I'm good... Sorry." The apology was compulsive, but he did feel better. He stood on his own and gave Vin a hesitant nuzzle to show his appreciation for the offer. Plus, Evrah had offered a lift? That... sounded fun? Head tucked down he looked up at the intimidating snake blob, "Ahh umm I wouldn't mind a... lift though?"
.
Those eyes were not fair. They were most definitely from Kip and Evrah suspected that all four of these new blobs would be capable of them. Regardless, Kiv was on his back in short order. Evrah's center eye was darting- as best it could- to each of the new blobs and Kip while the other four eyes kept to their path, but was otherwise still quiet as he walked his....family along.
.
Van decided that this was satisfactory. She gave Val an appreciative nod and walked along with them a half step or so behind as a sort of rear guard ensuring that everyone kept up. Though she still felt their parents weren't quite the whole way up to speed with this she did approve of how they were handling it now. Kip seemed to be doing the better job but as they walked along she also approved of the more subtle care that Evrah was taking with Kiv once he was on his back. While the blob wasn't especially fidgety he would twitch away from loud noises and, though the pup seemed well balanced on his own, Van noticed that Evrah's tail was pretty swift in switching to the side Kiv was most likely to fall towards. That he shifted his weight to help keep Kiv balanced. Yes, Van quietly smiled to herself. They would be ok.

Vanadium looked about herself slowly taking everything in. She wasn't entirely sure about this situation. There were strange people as far as she could see and as the tallest of her siblings she was probably seeing more than they were. One of her apparent siblings had already darted off into the crowd. Her supposed parents seemed a bit too... surprised to wrangle him in. Or perhaps it was safe so they weren't worried? She'd keep an eye out just in case. While Vana wasn't looking though a yelp stole her attention away from Val. It was another sibling by the looks of it.
Kivrin had been trying to look at everything but there was just so much of it!
