Caspen was boiling with emotion, and it seemed like the only way to calm down was through the power and adrenaline of the arena. Choosing the strongest competitor, they felt a strong rush of confidence. I need to prove myself. I need to be strong. Squaring off in the ring, a voice boomed from above. "It looks like we have an interesting match here, folks! A basic blob versus the king of the ring! Will we get a surprise today!?" A distant bell strung once. Go. The giant blob had impeccable speed and brilliant accuracy, lunging instantly for Caspen's small body. Barely able to roll backwards out of the way, the arena shook with the impact of Terrim hitting the ground. Up in an instant, they scanned the arena floor for their prey. This'll be a tough one, might have been a bad idea. Looks like I'm playing defense.
Flattening themself tightly against the arena floor, they focused on rolling between the advanced blob's very stylish pants. It wasn't a question of pinning, simply one of outlasting. "Oh, it looks like the little yellow blob is trying to trip Terrim! Will their strategy work? Or will they be tossed like a pebble out of the arena!?" Weaving lightly around the giant, intimidating creature, Caspen felt strangely free. The stress from the past couple days was receding under the need to keep dodging a pair of giant legs. They could be trusted. They would be trusted.
Feeling extra brave, they grasped the ribbon of the pants in their teeth. It was finally time to go offensive. Feeling a horrible rush of air, they were whipped around violently in the sky, but giant arms could not quite reach them. Gingerly climbing higher, they made it to the top of the belt, shaken but unscathed. Bracing themself, but curious about the taste, Caspen bit as hard as they possibly could into the torso of their enemy. It was slightly salty, but deliciously sweet. Screaming in pain, Terrim attempted to smack him off, but, because of the taste, they held on like their life depended on it. They rolled slightly to the side. Chomp. Again. Chomp. Covering the waist of the scary creature with tiny bite marks, they had a better idea. Leaping into the gap in the rival's chest, they bit as hard as possible into the tender flesh. Terrim was pissed. Clenching the small yellow blob in their fist, he threw Caspen as far out of the ring as possible, creating a sickening "thwack" as they collided with the wall. As the blue spread across their body, they chuckled to themself. That was exactly what I needed.
