Draco's Training to become EVIL

 

His Meowler was still glaring at him. The purple juice would not come out and now she sported a purple spot where there normally would not have been.

"I said I was sorry." Draco said. Again. He eyed his meowler.  She did not look mollified.

He had to step over a vine of glowing grapes when the meowler attacked.

"Ah" he shouted flinging himself to the ground. The meowler did not let up her attack and Draco found himself unable to get up. The only thing he was able to do was to roll. And roll he did. She would pounce and he rolled.  She swiped and he rolled.  Until she was able to pin him down.

Draco, out of breath stared at her crazed eyes. Her glare slowly turned into an evil smirk before leaping off him.  He sat up and looked down at himself.  He was covered in muck with glowing grapes stuck all over him.

Draco could not believe that he was actually in this situation. He quickly looked back and up. Where his meowler was sitting on a branch hight above the ground. Her tail twitching and what looked like a sly smile on her face.


Actually he could... He and his meowler had been walking through the swamps minding their own business when out of the blue, he had no idea what that meant, a great big green monster rose up out of the swamp. The monster had two sets of eyes. One set seemed to be on some set of stocks and its mouth wasn't a normal mouth, Oh no, this mouth was covered in wiggling feelers. He didn't want to know what was behind those.


He WAS going to just back away and run. But his meowler had other plans. She had run up hissing and growing and took a swipe, leaving three multi colored scratches on its leg. And then had the audacity to run, leaving him to deal with a now angry monster.


Looking back at his meowler had been a mistake. He felt the ground shake and when he looked back the monster had gotten much closer, Its barbed tail wavering over its shoulders and its pincer like claws were closed. He had just enough time to brace himself for the attack. He saw the monster swing adn then, he felt himself flying into the tree behind him. He lay there stunned and unable to move. The monster loomed over him. The mouth pieces fluttering in excitement. It was opening and closing its pincers.


This was it! This was how he was going to die. Betrayed by his meowler. He closed his eyes and waited for the blow.

Just then the monster let out a shriek of pain. And from the sound of things was stumbling around.


Draco opened one eye to see what was happening.


There was his meowler, on the back of the monster. Her claws were sunk into its back and she was spitting and yowling.


The monsters tail jabbed down toward the meowler and Draco was surprised at how quickly she could move. Instead of stinging her, it stung itself. The shriek was horrendous, and hurt Draco's ears.


The monster started running back the way it came. It seemed to be weaving, like it couldn't keep its balance. Just before DRaco lost sight of it, he could see his meowler still onto of the great monster.

Draco sat there, against the tree, wondering if he would ever see his meowler again. He leaned back and stared up into the tree. The branch that she had been in was directly above.


He sat there blinking up at it and then relisation dawned on him. She had used him as bait!

That, That meowler. Draco tried to stay mad at her, but it was difficult when he was also worried for her.

When she finally showed, he ran to her and gave her the longest and tightest hug he could, which turned out to not be very long at all.

"Ouch! Why do you have to keep scratching me? I was worried." Draco said. He examined her from head to toe but there was not a mark on her.

The meowler just looked at him then started grooming herself.
