Nyvo fell back asleep, but Lullia couldn't. She finally decided. She'd just have to tame that terreden, so it couldn't hurt Nyvo again.
It took her a while of searching to find the terreden. She was already tired enough, she didn't particularly need the extra hopping. All she knew was she couldn't get into another fight. If she did, it might be the end.
"Hey, uh.. it's me. Don't attack, please? I come in peace, I promise."
The terreden isn't very inclined to believe that promise. It wasn't the first to attack here. The terreden was absolutely the peaceful type. They'd rather have avoided any conflict entirely. But this pesky blobling wouldn't leave them alone. They grumble, and almost leave, but there's a note of sincerety in the blob's voice. Maybe they do really mean what they say. And after all, it wouldn't hurt to just stay a little longer. The terreden settles down, ears pricked.
"Look, I'm sorry. I only bothered you because... well, the reasoning was stupid. Anyways. I'm sorry."
The terreden seems somewhat calmed, but still seems a bit unhappy. Whatever the blobling's saying, it's not quite enough for the terreden. Its tail lashes back and forth, and its ears lower back threateningly. Still, it's staying. It's listening.
"Please, I.. I'm asking for a second chance. Would you be willing to.. form a sort of.. alliance? Maybe.. join me? Like that meowler I travel with."
At first, the terreden seems upset, almost offended by the proposition. But then, its ears slowly ease up, and its head tilts as it thinks it over. The blobling does seem to have a good bond with the meowler. The two are rather close. Thinking about it, it would be... kind-of nice to have a friend. The terreden doesn't genreally mind wandering alone, but.. well, some part of it is still rather fond of the idea of companionship. With this blobling, though?
...well, she had been rather nice throughout this exchange, and polite... maybe...
No. The terreden refused to think of it. They stuck up their nose and looked away haughtily.
"Look, I know I'm probably not exactly your favorite blob in the world after that... mess," Lullia chuckled sadly. "But still. I won't force you to come everywhere with me or anything like that, you're perfectly welcome to just hang around wherever if you really want."
Well... there are worse things, the terreden supposes. And it's not like he'll be trapped with the blobling constantly. He can accept that.
"...please?"
The terreden gives a sort of nod, and tears a leaf from its back. It offers it out to the blobling as sort of a token of friendship. Lullia smiles. As she starts to walk, the terreden follows her.
She comes across the felled poffdula tree, and has an idea. Taking off two sour fruits, she crushes up part of the leaf and applies it to both. She's heard that the leaves taste great and are great for you, so hopefully it'll make the fruits just a bit more appetizing. She offers one up to the terreden and eats the other. The two smile, and the terreden lays beside Lullia. The two stare over the sands and relax for a little bit.
