Bloblings have noticed mysterious, gooey bloblings popping up in the world. Many bloblings are weary of them because of their resemblance to the tar from the tar pits, which have been known to eat bloblings for something called 'breakfast'.
01/10/23 Hey there!
It's October now!
We've updated the Art Prompts and Writing Prompts with some new stuff for October, as ever. It's spoooooOOOOoopy season now, and our prompts have been updated appropriately! Go take a look.
It's going to be a Bleeding Season this month! New droplets will be being born at the end of next month. Get thinking about what kinds of bloblings you want to stick into some bleeds, because the Season will be releasing within the first week of the month!

Agility Lvl 1
While there is never too much movement training, Supernova decided instead of going fast, she wanted to train how fast she could break another's ankles.
She headed to the Smiley Sands to make it harder for herself to change directions suddenly. After being a good distance into the biome, she began rolling. After each singular roll, she tried to change which direction she rolled. Left, right, back where she rolled from, and all sorts of ways she could mix it up. It didn't go very well with the sand slowing her down, and she ended up not moving very far with the addition of being dizzy.
Frustrated with the lack of progress, Supernova decided to do a different kind of rolling. Running up to a hill, she laid on her stomach and leaned downhill. She would flip onto her side, then back, side again, and lastly stomach. This would repeat several times as she gained speed down the hill. Supernova was flipping so fast, that when she reached the base of the sand dune, she'd continue a little bit farther away from it.
Several rolls like that later, she decided to stop after getting so dizzy the world kept doing loops. Maybe she'll get better at it.

Agility Lvl 3
Jumping and zooming around the Tar Pits, Supernova came across her third common smuck in a single trip. Nothing really interesting. However, she came up with an idea that could be both fun and used as training. Why not just use the smuck instead of training all by herself? Pouncing on the unaware smuck, she yelled out her plan.
"WHAT'S UP? WANT YOU TO WORK WITH ME HERE. GOTTA HUG ME BEST YOU CAN. YEA I KNOW YOU DO. BEGIN!"
Her radio-like voice would screech and sputter. After a few more pushes with her paws to really get the idea in, she jumped away to gain distance. She wasn't the nicest blob. The smuck, on one hand, was pretty blob deprived and would love a hug, but the way they were asked annoyed them.
But the smuck decided to go along with it anyways. At least for now. The smuck lunged at Supernova at a surprising speed, stretching themselves out in her direction. She barely had time to register the smuck coming at her before she dodged. Some of the smuck's tar managed to graze past Supernova's tail, almost grabbing it. There was no rest from the first attack as the smuck just kept reaching. Luckily, Supernova's training from before allowed her to manage staying out of the smuck's reach.
The poor smuck was only getting more and more annoyed, with Supernova getting better with each successful dodge. After starting to get a hang of it, she started taunting with loud TV static-like screeches. She also shouted different phrases to get the smuck to try harder. Words like "GET FOOLED!" or "DO THAT AGAIN BUT BETTER!" She now could dodge without getting a bit of tar on her. This fueled her ego and made her pride skyrocket. One of the dodges, she jumped over the smuck and almost got caught. It almost ended badly, so Supernova decided to revert back to normal dodging. It was enough of a feat to do that anyways. This continued for a good while until Supernova tripped and got a good face-full of floor. At this point, she definitely deserved what was coming for her. The smuck happily gurgled as it took the chance immediately. They grabbed Supernova maybe a little too forcefully into a large, goopy embrace. At least smucks weren't hard and solid, for the pressure that this smuck would put out could probably squeeze Supernova pretty hard. Her whole body was completely incased in goo except her head.
"YEA YEA, I GOT CAUGHT, I GET IT. OFF WITH YOU, LEMME TRY AGAIN! THAT DIDN'T COUNT! I TRIPPED!"
Of course, the smuck didn't care and continued the very strong hug. Supernova struggled in vain as the smuck would not let go. Apparently, its idea of letting off steam is more hugging. She tried all sorts of tricks, bribes, and other things to get free. She even did the rare act of even apologizing. "eeeEEEAAAA, SORRY, THERE I SAID IT, CMON!"
Supernova didn't know when the smuck would let go, but it probably wouldn't be for a good while.

Agility Lvl 4
It took a good long while before Supernova could escape from the grasp of the smuck. Even smucks get bored of a single sided hug with no love back to them. Of course, Supernova struggled during every single moment of it. There is little to no time where Supernova is not moving. Bolting away, she wanted to take a break from the Tar Pits, hoping the smuck will eventually forget about her.
She headed back once more to the Smiley Sands, deciding that this area would probably be better off anyways. All of her movement caught the eye of a green-gemmed camivan. The bright colors of Supernova were similar to the gems the camivan coveted. The bird flew closer, thinking that Supernova was decorated in steal able gems. Without warning, the camivan attempted to grab these 'gems' that were actually just skin markings with their claws. Of course, with the sands being mostly barren, Supernova could easily see the camivan coming directly for her.
"LUCKY AGAIN, EH? ANOTHER CHANCE TO TEST MY SKILLS! COME GET SOME!" She easily lept away from the approaching bird. All the training using the smuck paid off, as she could dodge the razor sharp claws of the camivan. She wasn't too worried at all that the bird's claws could easily puncture her blob outsides. "I DON'T BLAME YOU FOR THINKING I AM A GEM, AFTER ALL, I AM GREAT!" Her pride knew no limits as she continued to dodge the increasingly infuriated bird. At some point, the camivan realized that there were in fact no gems what so ever on Supernova. It continued to wipe anyway, this time, to just puncture Supernova for wasting its time. Supernova meanwhile was very much enjoying the extra practice and was managing very good footwork even on the slippery sand. She was too lucky that she didn't slip again, as a mess-up would not end with a hug from the bird, but a large injury.
With one last aggravated swipe towards Supernova for good measure, the bird flew off uninterested with the lack of gems. "HOW'S THAT? THINK HARDER NEXT TIME YOU SEE SOMETHING SHINY!" She continued zooming off with her head and tails head high in victory.

Accuracy Lvl 4
Supernova had harrassed a wide range of things, including a terreden, a smuck, a blob-eating bulb, and some camivians, but Supernova wondered if she messed with something more... smart. She hit her front paw on top of the other. "A GOD! WAIT MAYBE NOT THAT YET. A BLOB,YES,THAT'S IT!" She had her target, but what would she do. Instead of dodging her targets, this time Supernova wanted her targets to dodge her. A rock to the head would do the trick.
Now that she had her plan, Supernova just had to find her willing victim. It couldn't be anyone in a heavily public space. There would be too much attention on her. Of course, she didn't care about her reputation at all, but blobs could retaliate, and a hoard blobs wouldn't be fun to dodge. Maybe. She held on to that thought for another time when she herself got better at dodging.
She debated where she could head to in order to commit this atrocity. There was the sands where she was already in. Nah, there's not too many that frequent this place. It was kind of the same for most places actually. The public rock throwing was starting to sound more and more like a possibility.
"THE ONIXIAN COLOSSEUM IT IS THEN! OF COURSE! GENIUS!"
She knew the plan, and now, knew the location. She didn't care who she hit, as long as it was done it secret. Too much attention was a bad thing. From her current location in the Smiley Sands, it was a decent trip over. Since Onixia was in the swamps away from the Tar Pits, she had a bit to go. Supernova bolted off towards the Tar Pits in order to pass through it. While traveling through, she spotted the normal flora and fauna that populated the area. Including the smuck that did in fact recognize her again. Supernova didn't have time to deal with it as she went faster, zig-zagging across the mucky ground. Luckily enough, she managed to fool the smuck and get pass the pits and was close by Onixia.
She could hear the roaring of the crowd as a match was currently in progress. "PERFECT!" She zoomed until the entrance of the coliseum, which then she 'calmly' the best she could walk into the area. She was vibrating in anticipation as she chose a good middle of the crowd open seat. It was nice and packed where she was. Of course, she couldn't immdedieately toss the rock, she had to wait a bit.
Waiting, however, wasn't in her vocabulary. She shuffled in place and fiddled with her tails while the match went place. Supernova was proud of herself as she event went through the whole match without incident and even waited till about midway the next match. With her agility and movement speed, she quickly lifted her rock, and YEETED it towards one of the two blobs currently in a match with one another. It arked in the air as blobs looked around in confusion. Supernova also joined in to not look suspicious.
The crowd watched as it was falling towards the fighting blob.
The crowd was silent. The distraction allowed the opposite blob a good punch in and caused the rock-hit blobling to pass out. Supernova rigged the match. The crowd began murmuring and wondering what would happen next. Some blobs began leaving since the match was over, while others stayed to see what the results would be. Some blobs were angry that the match was cheated. Supernova got up and joined the leavers. She tried her best but she was heavily vibrating in too much excitement. Supernova unintentionally was making loud static from her mouth. She couldn't help it. Hopefully she wouldn't be caught.
As soon as she was somewhat away from the entrance, she was shaking so hard, she couldn't see straight. The ever increasing loud radio static was definitely catching attention. To remove all the energy, she decided to bolt off in a random direction, then suddenly change direction and do it again.
It was very entertaining to rig the match by doming the blob with a rock. It was totally worth it.

Supernova already had her obstacle course that she built before, with a chromillia tree as its main centerpiece, but she thought it could use some work. And so she did.
"TRASH! WHY DID I THINK THIS WOULD BE A GOOD COURSE? START IT OVER!"
She first started by untying the large bleeding heart tree branch from the poor chromillia tree. Not that the tree minded it in the first place though, it was just happy to have company after being lonely for so long. After untying, Supernova tossed the branch onto the pile of cyrill star vines that was laying under it. All of the other parts of the course were just half buried in the sand, so Supernova was easily able to tear it all up from the sand and add it to the pile.
Now, the pile contained ferrowood bark, bleeding heart tree branches, and cyrill star vines. Next was the green glow grapes. The green glow grapes in particular were a little tricky to gather from the ground, as Supsernova previously dug them next to a blob-eating bulb. Luckily, Supernova trained her agility well, and could easily dodge the stationary plant.
"HAHA, NICE TRY! I'M GOING TO MAKE USE OF YOU LATER, SO YOU MIGHT AS WELL DO BETTER!"
Now that everything was piled, she saw that it was indeed a shabby amount of obstacles. She needed more. So, Supernova spent a good number gathering more of the same materials, but a large amount of it. It was almost too much, and could be considered a waste. It was a good thing that none of the materials came from something that could feel, or else it would be a very unhappy creature.
Now, she grabbed a bleeding heart tree branch, turned it vertical, and stabbed it into the ground. She took another one and did the same thing nearby the first, leaving a small gap that she could slip through. She repeated this with a couple more branches in a line before moving to the next obstacle.
She grabbed a some of glow grapes off the vines from her pile and tossed them over to the blob-eating bulb. They scattered all around the plant, some smacking the plant itself with no reaction. Next was wrapping the left over glow vines around the giant Chromillia. Some were tied near the bottom, and Supernova used that to stand on top of and reach higher for another wrap. The repeated process made horizontal green stripes all the way up the Chromillia. She jumped the large drop and rolled to the ground.
Next, Supernova grabbed some sheets of ferrowood and stuck them vertical into the ground too. They were facing each other and formed two walls. From there, she brought over lots of cyrill star vines and draped them over the ferrowood sheets.
After all that, Supernova still felt like it was lacking, so she decided to put back up all the previous obstacles from before, minus the tied bleeding heart tree branch. This included ferrowood jump hurdles, green glow grape vine duck and jump hurdles, and bleeding heart tree tunnel made of many branches.
"ALRIGHTY, LET'S GET THIS STARTED! ON MY MARK- GO!"
She didn't even finish the words before she bolted off. There was no reason to wait, who else would be racing? Supernova started with the ferrowood jump hurdles and green glow grape vine duck and jump hurdles. She zoomed through and over them, and even decided to double back and do it again to show those plants who's boss.
Next she dashed to the blob-eating bulb and began grabbing glow grapes one by one, as the plant snapped at her afterimages. She was concentrating too hard to shout insults as she continued to grab more grapes with her tails. After each grape is grabbed, Supernova catapulted it at the Chromillia, trying to hit the base. Only after all grapes were well and mushed on the tree's base, she headed to the bleeding heart tree branch tunnel.
The long straight tunnel allowed her to build up speed as she launched through to the ferrowood and cyrill star vine crawl tunnel. She slid on her stomach partway through the crawlspace before inching her way through the rest of it. Next was the tall fence of bleeding heart tree branches. She wove between them back and forth at extreme speed. She never even bumped one of them.
Lastly, she hauled in the direction of the Chromillia. Using the wrapped step holds, she quickly scaled up the tree's trunk. Squeezing through the small gaps between petals, Supernova reached the top of the Chromillia. It formed its mouth in an o shape as it haven't seen a blob before, being tall and all.
"HOW WAS THAT? PRETTY GOOD,EH? I THOUGHT SO!"
Once the whole course was done, she said bye to the Chromillia, and slowly climbed down, gathering the wrapped vines and tossing them to the ground in the process. Once safely to the bottom, Supernova wandered off to find her next interesting activity, leaving the mess of an obstacle course behind.

Supernova got bored of the repetitive speed and agility based training. Sure, she loved zooming around, but training to do it almost felt like a chore. So she decided to be strong. But normal strong would be boring. Instead, why not make her tails even more useful by strengthening them?
To do this, she traveled to find a tree in the sands that she already was standing in. Supernova didn't have the patience to go to another biome, but she wanted something new. This was answered when she found a Poffdula tree. She never even knew it existed, but with all the colors covering it, she knew it would be great.
Running up to the tree, she first climbed it normally with a little struggle. The many removable pods were hard to climb upon. Once Supernova eventually went on top, Supernova wrapped her tails around a horizontal-ish branch and allowed her self to hang only by the tails. Now, the hard part. She tried to twist and pull herself back up using the tails alone. Which she failed to do.
After many more attempts, her tails started to slip with fatigue, and she fell headfirst into the sand. It managed to get stuck and her poor strength made it hard to un stick herself. This was her next task for a good number.

Supernova was only more determined to train her strength after getting herself stuck into the sand. Of course, she did eventually get herself out after digging around her head. Her strength wasn't enough to just pull her head out.
Supernova wouldn't give up just like that though. She had to climb back up the tree, but she couldn't just use the same path as the pods she previously stepped on fell off. Now, she had to find a new way up. And so, she took just as long the first time to climb up and repeat the process of hanging by her tails on a branch.
This time she wrapped her tails around the branch extra tight so it wouldn't slip. Supernova began to lift herself up once more with great struggle. It took her many, many tries before she was able to touch the branch with her paw. If only she could get a good grip, but her paws had nothing to grab the branch with, causing her to get tired and hang back upside down.
The sack of blood that all blobs have had mostly settled towards Supernova's head, making it even harder to lift herself up. She never gave up trying though, and her efforts ended up in a lot of sit ups.
