Movement 5- Smiley Sands Racing
Usurper was back at his garden, humming to himself as he stretched. He felt great today. He felt better than everyone, at least more strongly than usual. Insangu was with him today, giving off some slight irritation vibes. Insangu will get over it, especially when he gets beat at this race.
Usurper was back at his garden, humming to himself as he stretched. He felt great today. He felt better than everyone, at least more strongly than usual. Insangu was with him today, giving off some slight irritation vibes. Insangu will get over it, especially when he gets beat at this race.
They were repeating the race they had done a while ago. Insangu had won back then, no questions asked. He wasn’t gonna let a bird win today, though. As good as Insangu was, he was better now.
Usurper and Insangu started running around the perimeter, and everything became a blur. He felt sick from how fast he was going, but eventually made it to the end. After staying still for a while, he noticed Insangu was sitting on the other side of the circle, giving Usurper salty vibes. “How’s it feel at the other end, huh, Insangu?” Usurper mocked his bird a bit, to which it responded with irritation.
Just then, a Terreden popped up outside of the circle. It was slow as hell, of course. Usurper decided to try to race it anyway. “Hey, Terreden!” Usurper ran up to it. “Race!” Without even hesitating, he bolted. The Terreden slowly followed, not understanding what it was doing exactly, but realizing that for some reason, this strange blobling wanted it to follow him. It didn’t take long until Usurper was way too far ahead for the Terreden to continue, though. Usurper eventually ran back, shouting at it, “You lost!”
He ran back into his garden, and was ready to rest. There was a certain fauna that thought otherwise, though.
A familiar rainbow glow flowed through the sands, heading towards Usurper. A Prismermine poked its head out, and started to give him angry dooks.
“Are you challenging me?” Usurper asked.
The Prismermine nodded. This must be one of the Prismermines that he threw a rock at. Oh well! Time to show this stupid Prismermine who was the boss around here.
They both took off, and the Prismermine quickly got ahead. Usurper growled under his breath as he rolled as fast as he could to it. He wasn’t really paying attention to where he was going, but he didn’t care. He was just following the Prismermine, hoping that eventually, he will catch up. He continued after it, and rolled as fast as possible, to the point he felt even more sick than usual in these races. The Prismermine started to give him mocking dooks. What the hell was up with that? It wasn’t like it was about to win or anything like that. In fact, Usurper was certain he would secure victory. After all, Prismermines are stupid, and-
He rolled straight into a Bleeding Heart Tree, some of the fruits falling on him afterwards. The Prismermine continued making mocking dooks, and kept on going straight until it was no longer visible.
Usurper muttered under his breath, and after Insangu finally caught up to Usurper, they began to roll back home.
