11/19 prompt 6
huck is a rather simple blob. she loves to write about and investigate the blobs of terrea, the things they'd get up to and why. she is a blob that finds interest in just about every one that she meets and loves to hear all about the blobs that will talk to her about them selves. she often hears from the many blobs that shes interviewed about the concept of romance. it had been brought to her attention that many of the blobs on terrea were choosing to pair up with other blobs in relationships that to sum up their words "went beyond friendship". as she continues her interviews and conversations with blobs about their lives she began to think about what kind of blob she might like to have one of these kinds relationships with.
she would start to think, number dream and imagine the traits that she might like her partner to have. not so much in a physical form sense, as many of the blobs had such wild and interestingly different forms and evolution arcs. it would be almost impossible for her to pick out any form traits that she would like best. the way this blob looked also just simply didnt seem lie it would or should be all that important at all. she wanted to have the very thing that so many blobs had told her was a great good thing, an other blobling that knows her, one that wants to see her do the things she loves and one that wants to be around her. she wanted a blobling that cares about her and the things she dose and thinks, some blob that she cares about in the same way. she wants something real and good.
she had seen so many blobling pairs and even a few groups that had relationships like this, and most if not all of them all had some kind of a story to tell about their partners and them selves. she had listened and taken notes on what seemed like every kind of story there was. blobling that met at an event or a quiet public space like the coliseum fights or a game night, many that she knew personally had met at the library. and even still the differencing personal traits lead most of these blobs through some riveting stories. strangers to lovers, enemies to closest companions, besties to more, they all had their own dynamics and arcs that their bonds were put to many different challenges.
she sat in the park on most numbers to compile all the interviews she had done into a book or sometimes an in progress frendzy post. though as the numbers wore on it became progressively harder and harder to focus on the organizing her interviews as her thoughts were found to be flooded with all the possible challenges that she might face with her dreamt up partner. if they were a messy blob, or overly uptight or if they might also share the tendency to worry and travel to far into their own thoughts. if the blob that she wanted to be with was to similar to her the relationships could very well just fail, by pointing out their flaws. shed shake her head to try and quell the rotten thought trains that spurred from the many questions she had on the subject. it was this that made her change course in her interviews, to really crack down on just want made a good romantic relationship between bloblings. she starting interviewing more paired bloblings than not and asking much more increasingly personal questions when the blobs were comfortable with answering them at least. directing the conversations less in the direction of bleeding and more in that of what makes their partner and relationship worth it to them. she was absolutly determined to figure out just what it was that made one relationship differ in such a manner from any other, why blobs that were in these relations were in them and what they might be in them for. a lot of them spoke of the same sorts of things whether it was a sense of kinship a great bond or simply feeling like they were home when the other was around they all had many a sweet sentiment towards being in the presence of the other. and if their response wasnt about that it was likely about all the shared experiences that the partners had gone through big or small that worked to build their bond to being even stronger than before. and while she found that its was less common an answer a good chunk of blobs greatly appreciated the physical companionship and closeness of the partner.
as she would lay about the park making compilations and posts about the new information she had found on the topic she would reflect on the new statements and answers she had gotten. continuing to add onto and into what had at this point become a fictional life with a blobling that most definitely didn't or wouldn't exist. trying to compile what the ideal partner blob would be for her self. the more she learned the more detailed the fantasy would get and soon enough she had a whole life dreamt up in her mind about a blob that she could love, who was kind and caring and thoughtful. a blob that would spend their numbers looking out for each other and go on long walks, a blob that would listen to her ramble on about what ever topic she found her self obsessed with at the time, and one that could talk for numbers about their own passions just the same. she imagined the blob as being able to communicate effectively about the problems that might come up between them and they were confident and bold, even more so than she was. this blob would be the type to show their affection rather than say it. some blob that was considerate and fair and good. she knew that this blob didn't exist, and that they simply couldn't, that she was going to end up with a blob that wasn't her perfect partner, but despite all her research and every interview that she did she could have never predicted that she her perfect partner was almost none of the things she would want from them.
