Stars Shining Bright, Shadows Creeping Further [open]

Feivel had spent a good portion of their early life roaming the Smiley Sands, and so they knew quite a bit about the region. They knew about Chromillia and Poffdula Trees, as well as Bleeding Heart Trees and Blob-Eating Bulbs. They'd seen Sand Camivian and Sandfish, Wheeples and Terreden. So if they had heard the screech that had frighten the dark purple blobling so much, they could've helped identify the source--if it was from something native to the region, that is. Unfortunately, by the time Feivel arrived in the area, the shrieking had since dispersed. The magenta blobling, carefree and naive as always, rolled over the sandy dunes, unaware that there may have been some danger looming nearby. Feivel continued like this for a while before stopping in their tracks upon seeing two bright yellow eyes peering out from under the ground. "Woah! Whatcha doing under there?" the pinkish blob asked while approaching the buried creature cautiously.
