The Onyxia Coliseum - Fight, fight, fight!

Kitandine continued to fight a few other bloblings. Most of them presented a slight challenge like Blue had and one blob even managed to give Kit a minor cut. However, Kit still handily won all of them. With each victory, Kit felt more pleased. Maybe he already was the best. Maybe his secret training had been enough and he was already the strongest blobling around. Once he threw his most recent challenger, a fairly evolved but surprisingly weak blobling, out of the ring, he again called out for another fight. There was a pause as the crowded chatted among themselves. Kit looked practically undefeatable and some bloblings had simply wanted to challenge his win streak or to try and wipe the growing smirk off his face.

Kit was absolutely thriving, on the other hand. He called out again for another opponent. After all, Kit was hardly done. These bloblings hadn't been super difficult but it was definitely more interesting than training alone and he at least had to use his brain to think and how to tackle the unique bloblings of Terrea. The crowd was also a plus! Whether the bloblings were cheering him on or jealously aggravated by his arrogance, they all had to acknowledge he was the best. Finally another challenger appeared. They weren't as evolved as the last blobling had been, but did have a cool hole in their chest. The referee announced his new opponent as Terrim, and Kit smirked ready to defeat another blobling.

The referee checked if both of them were ready and started the match. Kit didn't even have much time to think as in an instant Terrim was in front of him. Fast! This new blobling was faster than any of his previous opponents! They were probably even faster than Kit himself. Terrim didn't waste time and did a roundhouse kick, instantly cause Kit to stagger backwards. He slipped and if it weren't for Kit's own fast reaction, would have fallen out of the ring within the first few seconds of the match. Kit's upper body still clung inside of the ring while his lower half was scrabbling against the side. Kit had to shake off the dazed confusion quickly as Terrim approached ready to simply push him out of the ring. Kit cursed himself for letting the arrogance get to his head. Much like Blue had underestimated him, Kit had not given Terrim the respect he clearly deserved. Now he was almost out of the fight before it even begun! Terrim raised their leg again and Kit had to make a decision. If he tried to propel himself forward Terrim would meet him head on and simply knock him out of the ring. From the initial hit, Terrim was strong and they could hit hard. Instead, as Terrim brought his leg down to push Kit out of the ring, Kit let go. He let go of his purchase on the ring and threw his entire body to the right. He quickly rolled just out of the way of Terrim before just barely managing to sink his claws back into the ground and then propelling himself  past Terrim back into the ring. It was a risky maneuver as he had the chance of simply completely falling out of the ring when he had let go, but now he was back in the fight and Terrim was now the one at the edge of the ring.

Of course the blob would not go out that easily! Kit had attempted to roll and immediately kick Terrim out, but they had simply dodged. The two of them quickly traded blows. Kit was fast enough to dodge most of them, but when Terrim hit, he hit very hard. When Terrim landed any blow on anything besides Kit's natural armor on his back it immediately bloomed into a nasty bruise. On the other hand, when Kit landed a blow, it was as if Terrim's entire body was covered in Kit's armor. They didn't seem phased at all. It was hard, Kit was challenged, but he felt possibly happier than he had before. After all this was the fight he had been looking for. The worthy opponent! He clearly had been too quick to judge all the other bloblings of Terrea. Kit wasn't even close to being the strongest...but he WOULD be. And it would start with defeating this blobling. Kit wouldn't be able to defeat Terrim without some risk, he recognized this. Terrim was tougher and faster, but not necessarily faster in reaction. Kit didn't allow himself to doubt what he was about to do. He threw himself at Terrim, in a very bizarre embrace and pinned the blobling's four arms to his body. Kit threw his entire weight into Terrim forcing both of them to stumble back. Terrim walked on two legs, and without his arms he would not have that advantage. Terrim was at the edge of the ring! Kit couldn't afford to let go though and headbutted Terrim out while trying to throw himself back into the ring. Terrim was fast though and grabbed Kit's tail. Perhaps through sheer determination Kit managed to get his claw tips into the ring and clung for dear life. The match ended almost comedically. Terrim was on the ground clinging to Kit's tail and Kit was clinging to the edge of the ring. Perhaps a victory in technicality, but Kit would take it. The referee announced Kit as the winner almost as a question.

Even though the crowd cheered, Kit didn't notice. He was focused on Terrim, this blobling who had almost defeated him immediately. He smirked at the victory and told the blobling, "Nice try."

He turned as if to leave, but tilted his head back to give Terrim another stare, up and down, they were covered with scars and the "cool hole" he had dismissed actually looked like a very very painful one, Kit didn't say anything or pity what Terrim must have gone though to get that scar. He wouldn't dishonor his rival like that.

"I hope to meet you in the future. I'll be even stronger and you better be too."

He would have to get stronger. Even if he were defeated it wouldn't last long, Kit decided. Even though Terrim had been defeated (on a technicality) and that fact did not diminish Kit's respect for the other blobling, as Kit knew they had been stronger than he was. Kitandine would simply have to work harder. He did, however, throw Terrim a cheeky wink and an appreciative look before he left. What? He could admire the bloblings capable of defeating him.
