More changes had happened to her form, her body lengthening out and sitting upright with a few more limbs attached to her body. She had several appendages jutting out from what she assumed was an arm. They could flex and were quite dexterous in their abilities. Her head now sat upon a length of neck, a new stretch of flesh that could twist and turn, allowing her a greater range of sight. Another appendage came from her rear, whip-like at the end and thick where it connected with the rest of her body. She also had a new head, almost as if she had been molded out of clay.
She was far more agile now and although the form took some getting used to she was getting the hang of it far more easily. The extra appendages kept her body from toppling and she was easily able to get around. As it was her meowler, Galatea, was sleeping on one of the walkways with her ears twitching every few seconds. She seemingly had gotten used to Lilith's annual transformations.
Lilith found that to be just fine, she couldn't have her pet freaking out every time she gained more power.
Right now she was in the middle of making something new. She had collected a rather decent pile of the cotton puffs from her silver leafed trees and had taken the horns and sweets from their insides. She had not eaten them of course, she was not a fan of sweets and although they were mild and fruity, she strongly preferred the green pods off of her rainbow tree. She was left with a pile of cottony fluff that she did not want to be so white.
She popped a pod off of her rainbow tree and found red and green within it. She had been a little clumsy and mixed the two together to create a dark brown color. A small taste gave a spicy bitter flavor that she quite liked. She however found that, just as last time, it had stained her finger from where she touched it.
Taking the white fluff she slowly dipped them into the dye and laid them out to dry. The white cottony substance turning into a more calm brown color. She found that she enjoyed that color much more than the glaring white from before. It reminded her to much of that one from the trial, the white one covered in scales and fur.
So far things had been going well, the little puffs were drying and it seemed as though they would hold a rather decent amount of color to them when they were done. Thankfully the lava's heat was just enough to dry them out from this distance.
