When you first make a blobling, all of you will be asked the same question: Order, Chaos or Blood? And while the question itself is easy enough to answer, because it simply asks which one of the three your blobling identifies with most, perhaps you want to know more about what this question is really asking. Well, that's why this section is here. :3
The deities who rule over the world Terrea resides in are Order, Chaos and Blood. Choosing an answer in your form allies your blobling with the Deity who matches the concept that's chosen. Some would say that this decision is unimportant, and some would say it's the most important decision a puny, insignificant little ball of blood can ever make. Below are some more in-depth descriptions of each of the Deities so that you and your blob can make an informed decision.

Aesthetic: Snakes, crystals, fog, marble, white.
Themis is the goddess of Order. She's an entirely white woman with two stick-like legs and a long, rounded cloak. Her hair lies flat, with perfectly even bangs that reach slightly below her jaw, and it's tied into an exceptionally long ponytail that's as long as her snake-like tail. She has scales all over, sometimes sparse but always symmetrical and neat. Nothing is out of place. Her frame is slight, but exceptionally long - between her and Ichor, she is the tallest. She speaks politely and rarely uses contractions.
She represents neatness, long-term planning, prudence, protection, and in some cases kindness. She leads by example and tries to do right by her people, though her nature sometimes makes her rule with more of an iron fist than a gentle hand. Her rigid ideals tend to get in the way of her compassion and lead to some... interesting results. But the occasional moments of tyranny are by no means the majority, and beneath her marble-like exterior lies an empathetic, loving goddess who just wants the best for everyone.
The white planet that bloblings can see in the distance is the planet where Themis lives - it's made of crystal and has a white, glowing aura, making it look a lot like an eye that's always watching.

Aesthetic: Rainbows, blood, spikes, asymmetry, all the colours.
Ichor is the goddess of Life/Blood. She's a white woman who towers over the bloblings; they were born from the palm of her hand, so she's gotta be big. She's got long bangs that swipe over one side of her face, and each strand is a different colour - and they look a lot like individual little trickles of blood running down her skull. Her hair has every colour of the rainbow in it, and some bits are actually Medusa-like hair snakes that slither around on her head, with mouths and eyes and everything. They hiss occasionally.
She's got stick-like legs and an impossibly stick-like midsection, and a 'dress' that looks a lot like her hair but longer, as if the train is made of long streams of blood. The collar on the dress looks like a popped collar made of blood that's bursting out of her shoulders and chest. Blood, blood, blood. Do you get it yet?
She's the slightly morbid mother-figure to the bloblings, though she's kind of an absentee mom because she has an entire planet to run and rarely spends time with any individual blobling. She created Terrea, the bloblings, almost all of the flora, fauna and pets on the planet, and the rainbow stars in the sky.
She represents free will, fluidity, life, blood and prosperity. She often refers to a person who she's missing and still seems to be in mourning. Despite being preoccupied with grief, however, she smiles a lot and tries to enrich the lives of her bloblings and make their lives on Terrea a life worth living.

Aesthetic: Shadows, swirls, goop, jagged smiles, black and red.
Eris is the God of Chaos. His preferred form is a mixture between a taur, a lion and a dragon - unlike the other two, he is not a pretty, bipedal thing with cute hair and two hands: he's a long shadow creature with a lion's mane, two canonically gorgeous lion-like front legs, two muscular, hooved back legs, a lion's head, multiple red glowing eyes, and many horns. While he does have a somewhat stable form that he calls his own, he will often appear as... well, literally anything. He could be one of the grains of sand you're standing on. He could be A N Y W H E R E.
But he's friendly. Of the three of them, he's the most openly jovial, the most welcoming. His creations are often excessively huggy shadow creatures who just want to be loved. Perhaps this is his disposition as well; a misunderstood individual who simply wants to be loved and accepted. Perhaps the tales of him openly toying with the emotions of others and his constant betrayal are all lies.
Eris represents revelry, violence, excess, darkness, mystery and emotion.
He speaks in many different voices within the minds of the bloblings on Terrea and rarely shows himself there. He's only been seen once, and it was just his front paw. Perhaps... you could visit him and see his true form. ;] He'll be nice once you're in his realm. He P R O M I S E S.
Neutrality
Bloblings who straddle the line between two Gods but don't make a choice will be considered Neutral. Bloblings who don't list a God will be considered Neutral. Bloblings who don't wish to worship any God or Goddess will be considered neutral. Bloblings who are questioning but haven't decided on their path yet will be considered Neutral. Bloblings who hate all of the Gods and don't want to worship any of them will be considered Neutral (but Eris may be sad about being openly hated, and he gets really blob-poppy when he's sad).
Bloblings who choose Neutrality are often deep thinkers who like to stand back and watch the action happen before joining in or making any rash choices. They like to learn about the world around them and question what's in front of them, including the very fabric that holds everything together. This isn't to say any of the other 'alignments' don't also come with these qualities, they're just common in those who make this particular decision. They also tend to be dummies who don't like to rely on the Cosmic, all-powerful beings in the sky to protect them from the dangers on the horizon, so there's that.
Gameplay-wise, being Neutral will just mean that your blobling will receive fewer rewards from Quests... because the Gods just like their own followers more. However, you will be able to choose Quests from any God. This is a versatile choice, but it may slow a blobling's growth very slightly if you aren't willing to do multiple Quests.
