Wondering around Onyxia in a daze, the red velvet blob stops when she sees eyes in a pile of sand. It startled her and they stared at each other in silence. The sand's gaze went toward the towers and she too looked beyond. She became even more curious when the sand spoke, "Hi... I wonder... who lives in those towers... could you... bring me there... and give me a tour...?" the sand asked this with a hopeful voice.
Hmm...I wonder this too. My voice may live in those towers. I wonder...
When creatures speak it always fascinates her because it's something she cannot currently do. Living a silent life opens up so many ways to observe the world even though communication is a struggle she does sometimes become frustrated, but never jealousy towards others. So when the sand said a greeting and request she bounced happily up and down with a one dimpled smile. She was happy to help Sand and glad to have a temporary purpose.
How am I to transport sand?
It baffled her as she had no appendages to pick up the friendly and trusting creature. She imagined it scooting on the ground and it would take way too long. That would not do. And so she circled around the eyed sand and thought really hard. Being newly born, she did not know this place very well, but that would not stop her. She decided she would find something to pull. She did not go far and kept going back and fourth to Sand in an indecisive way.
Sand may not be there when I come back. How am I going to figure out where sand is if I get lost?
So before going out and exploring to find items to transport, she made a barricade piling the excess sand on every side as if to say, "stay right there". Then she left Sand alone...not without taking a bit of sand with her. Very carefully she left a trail of sand where she went, carrying the sand in her mouth. She spotted a patch of nature and there in the middle was a Poffdula Tree. Apssedy looked it up and down and spit out the rest of the sand only to grab a hold of the fabric type strands and she also pulled off a pod. The oozy insides were sticky and she used the sticky to attatch the strands onto the pod. She also emptied the pod as much as she could. It held up.
Perfect! Now to get back I go...this way.
And so she followed the sand trail she had made and there the Sand was. She noticed Sand kept asking the passersby the same question that was asked earlier to her, but there was no one who responded. And when she came into Sand's view. Sand spoke to her and said, "You came back...come, come...take me to the Towers...if you will." So Apssedy, with the strands in her mouth, bounced beside sand proudly and presented Sand's makeshift chariot. From there, she and Sand explored some of the abandoned and empty apartments while also walking down lived corr-adores. They even managed to be invited into another's abode to see how they lived. It was a happy, memorable time. Nevertheless, Apssedy did not succeed in finding her voice; it was not there and this made her feel sad inside.
