Jezebel watched from the shadows as Rhys was given another attack. She could feel herself getting jealous over the fact that Master Matlock seemed to favor his minion. She had been here for awhile now and had been working hard trying to get the Master's attention but to no avail. She thought that might change when Rhys had not only come back empty handed from the last time he was sent out but if rumors were true had actually defied their master in refusing to pop a blob when she had gotten in the way.
Well if Master wanted a blob then maybe that was what she should do. Maybe if she brought Master a blob then he might see that she would make a better minion then Rhys.
A nasty sneer formed on her face. Yes that is what she would do. She would show Master Matlock that she could be a better Minion then Rhys.
With that nasty thought in her head she turned and left.
Rhys had been sent into the mountains to find a blob. Maybe she should search in the swamps at the foot of the mountain. There should be someblob there she could take.
Jezebel galloped down the narrow trail, passing caves and shallow pools of ever-cool water.
Finally the hard surface of the mountain path made way to the softer, wetter ground of the swamps and she had to slow down or she ran the risk of getting tangled in the glow grape vines that littered the ground.
