Fiona put down the last of the colored stones on the walk way that lead to the future home of her Poffdula tree.
It had taken her a lot of numbers digging out the pond and filling it with water. And now it was time to find all the seeds needed for this part of her garden.
The seed for the poffdula tree and the glowgrowths were the easiest seeds to gather so she would start with those. But the Tartares seed might just pose some difficulty. She would need first to find one and then wait for it to spit seeds. Or she could try and go in after them but that poses a lot of risks. She could go to the swamps or the tarpits but if she needed to climb into one that would pose safty issues. So it looked like it was another trip to the seas.
Fiona took up her pail that was lying next to the pond and headed out. Firs she found the colorful Poffdula tree and grabbed a yellow pod. (guessing that is it’s seed.) and plopped into the pail. Next she journeyed to the mountains where Reinala’s temple was. As she flew through the swamps she kept an eye out for a Tartarus plant. But the few she found happened to be next to bleeding heart trees.
When she reached Reinala’s city she could not help noticing how white and clean everything was.She quickly found that Glowgrowths grew every where here. It did not take long for her to get a couple of glitters and gems from the plants. She was afraid that the glitters would get lost. So she wrapped them in the leaves of the Glowgrowths. And she placed those in her pail along with the crystals she had harvested.
On the way to the seas she decided to pass over the Tarpits. But she decided not to get the seeds from these. The very thought of getting close to these dark gooey pools sent shivers down her spine and she quickly flew past them.
It took her many, many numbers until she reached the oceans. She flew to the darkest patch of the Damp Water Darks. Where the orb of water sat directly above it. And this was where she found a lot of the Tartarus plants floating on the water.
She flew down to the beach and put her pail down. That way if she di get spat out she would not lose the seeds she had already gathered. Fiona dived into the first Tartares plant. She had read that there was a seed pack somewhere in the plant. She rooted around quickly. She had just found what she thought was a seed pack when the plant closed up around her body and the next thing she knew she was flying through the air. A couple of seeds clutched in her hand. She flapped her wings to right herself then flew to where her pail was and tossed the seeds in to sit with the rest she had gathered. Now it was time to go home and do some planting.
