New Life Maker Creations:

Fauna Name: Truffuls (plural)
Fauna Description: Small, armless and defenseless creatures that cover themselves with the drippings of the Milkshake Tree to try and hide their own delicious scent. They are prey creatures that consume mostly the bounty of the Milkshake Tree, but also partake in certain sweet plants or poff pods. They come in many different colors with a variety of antenna. They can often be seen toddling around the base of the Milkshake Tree, but are very skittish (for good reason) and can be difficult to catch. They are surprisingly speedy!
Biome(s): Wherever Milshake Trees grow.
Taste: They come in many different flavors; chocolate, vanilla, strawberry...
Preferred Food: Milkshake Tree Bits, Lambfruit, sweet flora/poff pods.
Mating Habits: A Trufful multiples when it feels safe, and will shake off a bit of its antennae and a few natural sprinkles into the creamy bits at the base of a Milkshake Tree, which will grow into tiny Truffuls in a few Numbers' time.
Rarity: As common times a dozen as the Milkshake Tree.

Flora Name: Shineshrooms.
Flora Description: Shineshrooms are sparkly, colorful mushrooms (in pink, blue, and purple varieties) that grow in the Climate Caves. They are less than half the size of a base blobling, but they can be easily spotted in dark corners due to their prominent sparkling. When exposed directly to intense heat (such as lava), shineshrooms will crackle and pop in a small, pretty, colorful and harmless explosion. They can typically be found in small clusters in the caves. Be careful while venturing near the lava pits, though, as it's possible a stray pop of lava can set nearby shineshrooms off, and it might be quite startling. Shineshrooms could also be a great decoration for a blobling's home - just make sure to store them in a cool, dark place so that they can thrive!
Biome(s): Climate Caves.
Seed Location and Appearance: Shineshrooms do not have seeds, but rather spores. These spores are the fine sparkly dust that often coats the shineshroom cap.
Taste: Sweet and spicy - the shineshroom has a pleasant taste, but it feels tingly and makes light popping sounds in a blobling's mouth.
Rarity: Common - but they can only be found in the Climate Caves.

Pet Name: Cygi.
Pet Description: Cygis are social creatures which live in a family of 5 or more while pups are growing. Some packs remain with firm bonds, but some adult Cygi do wander alone to find a new mate, a new home, or maybe existential meaning to life. Who knows? While they are not especially friendly to bloblings, they are definitely curious, and will bond extremely closely with any blobling able to tame them. They are easy to train, but their intelligence can range widely. Cygis can produce small bursts of flame, usually meant for defense, so a blobling will have to be careful to not end up with singed furniture.
Biome(s): The Smiley Sands and on the outskirts of or tucked into the green shadows of Snekkiti City.
Taste: Cinnamon corn chips.
Preferred Food: Cygi will hunt smaller fauna, but have also been known to take pleasure in the Breakfast Tree and Burger Bush. They can eat the same flora that is edible to blobs (and some that is not), but this seems to be mostly for pleasure.
Mating Habits: Pretty standard Old World mating, but Cygis hatch from bright, cool-colored eggs in clutches of 1-3. Newborn Cygis are hatched with their eyes open and a tiny set of teeth. They are not liable to be able to hunt on their own, but they can be taught!
Rarity: Fairly common.
Taming Difficulty: Not really all that difficult, given there are no Sudden Scary Movements

Pet Name: Visuri
Pet Description: Floaty little fox dragons. They float/fly via the glowy vaza or 'metal-gems' that line their back which come in one color based on whichever star's light they were exposed to when born. They are affectionate creatures and get along well with blobs and others of their kind that share their vaza color. Visuri are fiercely loyal to those they fully bond with and are a little prone to jealous/territorial behavior over a long term friend or mate.
Visuri also happily steal the vaza off the backs of other visuri when they can- especially ones of a different color. The stolen gems are then attached carefully to their own backs using their fyre breath- a white flame that they can shoot from their mouth that isn't real fire and feels almost like lukewarm liquid to the touch. The metal-gems are otherwise immutable without extreme heat and patience.
The happiest visuri will have a back lined in many vaza in every star color. A visuri that's lost its metal-gems will slowly grow them back in itss natural color, but will be sulky and unable to float until it does so.
A visuri's vaza is a hard metallic material that is transparent like a gem and can glow well enough to light a room. It continues to float and glow even when detached from the visuri and can be used as a light source or forged into armor, weapons, or accessories. The glowing can be worked out of the material.
Biome(s): Any biome as they like to roam, but usually they're either found alone or in pairs of matching color.
Taste: Slightly mineral-y lamb.
Preferred Food: Opportunistically omnivorous.
Mating Habits: Visu who have collected what they deem 'enough spare vaza' will take their spares and breathe fyre on them until they fuse together. They'll viciously protect the vaza cluster as they continue to fyre it until it becomes smooth, loses all color, and stops being transparent. This duty is sometimes shared by a mate. Eventually, the vaza shell will crack and new visuri (1-3) will hatch from it.
Rarity: Only slightly rare in that they wander and don't hold a territory unless they're hatching babs.
Taming Difficulty: Average? Once found, they aren't overly skittish.

Fauna Name: Eyefly.
Fauna Description: Greenish-blue butterflies with large eyes decorating their wings.
Biome(s): Primarily found in clusters in the Snekitti City, or anywhere grassy.
Taste: Lime rock candy.
Preferred Food: They drink nectar from flowers in their locale, they're not really picky.
Mating Habits: Egg, with a bit of preliminary dancing.
Rarity: Large clusters of 20+ are heckin rare, but a few (2-5) fluttering around together can be seen as a quite common occurrence.
Creator: ThePonyQueen
Fauna Name: Hotarhound
Fauna Description: They are a very small, skittish creature and they tend to travel around in groups. Their packs can range in size from as small as a couple to as big as a hundred. Within these packs, they communicate with each other using body language and the movement of the wirey antennae on their body and wings. Despite looking canine in nature, they don’t vocalize at all.
Their body is chitinous and their translucent wings let them fly and dance around with ease. Also, their tail light will light up and flash when they are near any other creature. The closer they are to that creature, the quicker the light will flash on and off. Though it is uncommon, if they are close to a particular being for long enough they will stop flashing for that creature. The color that their light flashes is determined by the type of creature they are near:
White for another of their kind,
Yellow for any other type of fauna,
Blue for a blob,
and Red for a God.
Biome(s): They can be found in any biome which has water, so all of them (so far) except the Tar Pits and the Smiley Sands.
Taste: They taste like those lollipops that have bugs inside. Quite the crunch!
Preferred Food: All they need to stay healthy is starlight, but they are willing to eat any and all types of flora. A large grouping of them could become quite the nuisance if they were to take a liking to a certain type of plant.
Mating Habits: They leave tiny glowing eggs on the surface of water, which will hatch into more of them.
Rarity: Finding one can be rare, but once you find one there are likely more nearby.

Fauna Name: Diebin.
Fauna Description: These little guys live to steal Terrean currency. While they adore all shiny objects, nothing holds their fancy like ferroflips do. In whatever way possible, they will quietly wander into a blobling’s home and rummage through their things until they come across their stash. Then, once they do find some, they will snatch up as many as they can hold in their appendages and try to scurry off with them.
To make it even easier for them to successfully complete their heists, they are completely invisible! If a blob isn’t listening for the pattering of their feet they could manage to sneak right under them unseen! Of course, there is one way for them to be revealed, and it is by them being shone on by the black light ferroflips give off. So as soon as one of them picks up a coin, they will be immediately visible due to the very thing they are trying to steal away. Though, despite them being caught they will refuse to let go of any of their stolen items and will still try to get away with them. The only way to scare them off for good is by booping them right on the nose! This spooks them so bad that they drop everything and never return to that blob’s home.
Biome(s): Anywhere that blobs live.
Taste: They taste like purple star apples!
Preferred Food: They feed of a blobling’s greed for money.
Mating Habits: They decorate nests with a large collection of ferroflips and the light from them all will collect together to create one.
Rarity: They are uncommon, but not rare.

Flora Name: Vill o’ Wisp.
Flora Description: These flowers exist in the Sourglow Swamp, growing more commonly and closely together the nearer you get to the Tar Pits. The beautiful blooms often catch the eye of wandering bloblings, but beware! Follow too far, and you may end up lost in the tar forever. Every strand of glowing violet orbs (as they appear due to the color of their thorny stems) ends at the very edge of the tar pits. The furthest stems bend over the bubbling pools, but will break off in a blobling's grip if used for possible escape. Vill o’ wisps also make a beautiful sound like the way glimmering water looks, but you must get very close to hear it. The sound is hypnotic and benign, and almost enough of a reason to follow them. Eating a petal or two might make the consumer feel a little dazed, warm, and sleepy. More petals mean more sedation. Just don't lean too far into the flame. One might find themselves waking up without ever remembering closing their eyes in a whole different area of Terrea, sometimes just moments before being pulled under the tar.
Biome(s): Between the Sourglow Swamp and the Tar Pits.
Seed Location and Appearance: There is no exact seed, perse, but the roots structure of the plant extend from one flower to the other all the way to the Pits. If the strand is broken, a new bud will grow from the live end again, twisted closed until the flame can reach up its roots. Presumably, one would have to destroy the origin plant of any strand to kill the whole plant.
Taste: The petals taste like creamy, sweet vanilla and rum. The stalk is astringent. The flame won't let you eat it, but you may possibly lick it, and it burns so good.
Rarity: Rare, but often visible one from the other, at least at a distance.

Pet Name: Flitterbat.
Pet Description: Flitterbats are very social creatures, traveling in semi-large flocks, but are willing to leave and become a blobling’s companion if it trusts them. These creatures make great pets for bloblings; they’re cuddly, loyal, and very playful. Flitterbats require a lot of effort to make sure they are happy, like lots of room to fly, toys, affection, and somewhere dark where they can sleep and lay eggs.
They have a round, parakeet-like body with smooth feathers on the body and short, fluffy feathers on their neck. Their head is covered in soft fur, with two large feather-filled bat like ears, allowing them to hear very well. Their nose is an upside-down heart shape, and a mouth sits underneath said nose with two fangs poking out. They can’t fly for super long stretches of time, but thanks to their tail feathers, they have great control in the air. Flitterbats are about the size of an old world budgie.
They have the ability to mimic sounds, like fauna noises, sounds from non-living things, and even blobling speech. They can be taught words, and over time may even learn to communicate with bloblings. They’re very curious and intelligent, and learn things quickly, meaning they can be taught tricks as well. They also like sitting on the shoulders or the tops of heads of bloblings!
Biome(s): The blue and white Flitterbats are seen hanging on the cave ceilings in the Climate Cave and Mossy Mountains, and the green and yellow Flitterbats can be found living in trees all over the planet, though most commonly in the Snekkitty City’s trees. Bloblings also have these creatures as pets in their homes, so tamed Flitterbats can be seen in cities and other areas where blobs live.
Taste: Much like a cooked old world turkey, with a tinge of sweetness. Meowlers and Snekitties love to snack on these small creatures, but can learn to get along with them.
Preferred Food: Any kind of fruit or seeds, with a particular liking to the little red pearls inside Lambfruits.
Mating Habits: When a Flitterbat wants to make more of itself, it will lay a small egg that has short but very soft fur on its shell. Another Flitterbat, along with the one who laid the egg, will both keep the egg warm by cuddling with it until it’s ready to hatch, in which a baby Flitterbat (also called a Flitterling) will be born.
Rarity: Common in caves and the Snekitty City's trees, and Rare in other types of trees.
Taming Difficulty: Quite easy to tame.

Fauna Name: Hugathos (Hue-gath-os)
Fauna Description: Giant, super fluffy-furred, mute yeti dudes who live in the mountains and help bloblings stay safe during their travels and adventures; very friendly, very soft, great for cuddles and warmth, and large enough to carry most/many bloblings around with ease.
They are calm, gentle and helpful pacifists who will silently assist and obey any kind/good/pure requests or commands, and will not resist if attacked (only fleeing if in actual danger), but their thick coats of fur and flesh make them very resilient and tough, while also making living in any other biome tough for them.
Their thick fur naturally sheds sometimes, and can be easily harvested without causing any pain for the Hugathos,
perfect for making wonderfully warm, comfy blankets and such when woven together, and Mint Moss sometimes grows on their longer furtufts, giving them and their fur a soft snowy and minty scent.
Biome(s): The Mossy Mountains.
Taste: Hugathos fur tastes like the Mint Moss that often grows on it, and if a blobling/creature managed to get some Hugathos flesh, it would taste much like tough lamb meat with too much mint jelly.
Preferred Food: Mint Moss and Water/Tea normally, but most of them especially enjoy Cuteacup Teas, even though getting enough gathered to actually be enough for a Hugathos to drink is incredibly difficult.
Mating Habits: Two in-love Hugathos will pair off and attempt to hold hands for over 3 whole Numbers. If they succeed in holding hands for the entire duration of the 'mating' a fluffy egg containing a baby Hugathos will appear inbetween their palms, quickly grow to about 10ft in size, and after another 3 numbers, it can hatch to reveal the new young Hugathos.
Parent Hugathos stick around to cuddle their eggbaby to keep it warm and incubate it, and usually stay with their young until they have grown to be about adult-sized before they go their own ways.
Size: BIG. Adults ranging from 30-70ft usually but can get a bit bigger.
Rarity: Uncommon(ish), with usually about 69-83 Hugathos existing in the Mossy Mountains at a time.
