The Awakening!

Tidepool was relaxed. She really had nothing to do, but didn't mind that. It was nice to just chill every once in a while, splash around in the water, look at some wildlife. Suddenly, she saw a flash in the water. A glow. A luminance. Eyes wide, Tidepool stepped closer. It looked like a Golden Fish, but she was too far away to be sure. Suddenly, it darted off! "Wait!" Tidepool called out, running after the shimmery, elusive creature. Alas, it suddenly maneuvered away, safely under a rock, while Tidepool, seeing this, tried to stop, but she had too much momentum! The shining mint blob kept rolling through the shallows, until she bumped into A piece of bubblegum-pink coral. Wait, coral wasn't squishy! It was a round blob, with baby blue eyes. "Hello!" Tidepool said, smiling. Maybe she could be a new friend. "Who are you?"
