Ezra crossed the sandy landscape slowly but surely. The lack of legs or limbs for that matter was making the journey much longer than he expected. Alternating between bounces, rolls and floating, Ezra figured that he liked rolling the best. It gave him something to feel and do during the long stretches of the journey. He liked looking back and seeing the trail he made through the sand...It reminded him that albeit not the fastest mode of transportation, he was making headway nonetheless.
As he continued rolling forward he noticed a tall, looming figure in the distance. Being new to the world, it was the first thing Ezra had come across besides sand and the occasional rock. Rolling over excitedly he quickly approached the towering object and found it to be a...smiling flower?
Slightly put off, Ezra approached the gigantic flower. "That's a face alright, maybe it talks?" Ezra muttered to himself. The lavender blobling took a deep breath in and called out. "Hello freakishly, tall faced-flower! My name's Ezra!" Ezra waited patiently but no response came. Ezra pouted, maybe he didn't shout loud enough? Ezra continued yelling small talk at the plant in hopes that he could converse with the smiling, rainbow flora. A little desperate for some social interaction. After a couple minutes of that, Ezra huffed and plopped at the base of the plant in frustration. "I didn't know flowers could be rude." Ezra grumbled sullenly.
