Bloblings from all over Terrea have been hiding out outside of the Bunko Barn, waiting for the next time Rourick says they're open for business. Some of them have set up elaborate huts, so eager for the barn's next event that they've just decided to live there. Oh dear!
01/7/22 Hey there!
It's July now!
We've updated the Writing Prompts and Art Prompts for this month, so go take a look! We can't wait to see what you come up with!
This month is an Evolution Phase, and the thread will be being posted on the 5th! Stay tuned.
The mods and I did some talking and we have decided that it's time for us to focus on the overall site and its functionality first and foremost, rather than running any other story events at this moment. This means that for several months, we'll be putting our energy into updates like a Voucher Guide and a Newbie Landing Page that will benefit the whole site, but may not be as fun in the short-term. We may sprinkle in one or two story updates here and there, pending on some further decision making behind the scenes.
This does not mean that Prompts or Mini Missions will stop, but it *does* mean that I (Ichor) will be unavailable for anything that requires my art for the foreseeable future/as of this post. This means that people who wish for Makers, Insta-Bleeds and Insta-Evos and more should go ask one of the other mods very nicely if they're willing to art those. Players who do so should pay 50 percent of the item's price to the artist and 50 percent to the Terrea PayPal.
Our Discord server is invite only. Please DM Ichor or Saerfall after you've submitted your blobling claim form, and we'll send you an invite link. We spend most of our time on our Discord, so if it seems quiet here, we're probably all sequestered away in our server.
Ellen had just left the meowler pens with her new friend Olaf and was trying to work her way down the mountain. "Come on Olaf, you don't have to be scared, we can take it slow." Ell looked at her mostly white meowler who seemed to be shaking in place. "Don't worry if i was able to make it up here on my own without getting lost than i'm pretty sure we can make it down together." As she slithered her way to what she thought was down the mountain she kept looking back and checking on her meowler to make sure he was okay and following.
Inside one of the caves in the CC & MM Inari made his home. Sitting quietly with his tail curled carefully up beneath him, Inari sat on the chill rock floor of his little cavern. Held tightly in his hands was a cup crafted out of some ferrowood. Sipping his freshly made galanthilla and mint moss tea he gave Teacup a gentle little pat on the top of her head while she slept peacefully by his side. She was curled up in a fluffy sleepy little ball of floof. Softly humming idly to himself he was fully enjoying the peacefully quiet atmosphere.
"We aren't lost, It's just taking us longer to get down the mountain than it took me to get up." Ell looked to her meowler, Olaf as she said this. The meowler just looked back at her then sneezed as they continued walking down the mountain. "I really hope we are close to the base, then we can go looking for a scarf or a hat for you to help with that sneeze of yours." Ell shivered as those words left her mouth and the wind bit at her flesh. Spotting some caves ahead she suggested to her meowler," Why don't we head there and relax for a bit to warm up and regain our energy."
Having finished the tea he made earlier that number, Inari placed down his cup and began preparing a new pot of the pleasant tea. Filling another ferrowood contraption with hot water, he gathered up some more moss and galanthias to brew inside. Soon the mellow minty vanilla scent wafted out into the chilly air, past the moss curtains that covered parts of the opening to the cave. That moss was something that Inari carefully collected from other caves and rocks to hang over the entrance to his own to provide just a little more privacy for himself. While waiting for the tea to be finished he continued softly humming the tune, quiet enough that it could only be heard from within the cave.
Ell smiled at her meowler as she approached a cave "look this one even has a moss curtain in front of it, we can warm up in here and then work on getting back down and getting you a scarf or hat" the only response she got was another sneeze from Olaf. Ell turned and opened the curtain to the cave and froze in her tracks, before her was a gorgeous blue blob with the most beautiful sparkly wings. She felt Olaf brush past her side into the cave before she could stop him he was sniffing another meowler. "I-im so sorry!" Ell was struggling to get the words out "I ha-had no clue someone was living here, my meowler and and I were just looking for a place to get out of the the cold and I'm so sorry for intruding, we we can we can leave, so sorry again." She turned to call her meowler to leave.
Inari jumped a little when out of the corner of his eyes he caught sight of someone opening the curtain of his cave. He paused for a moment locking eyes with Ell in surprise. Glancing back down toward where his tea was brewing he was about to mumble something about how she should be more cautious where she wanders next time, but before he could say anything Olaf sneezed right in front of Teacup. Teacup's bright glowing blue eyes widened in surprise for a moment before the smaller meowler rubbed her head against Olaf's side in an attempt to comfort or warm him.
Glancing to the meowlers, Inari let out a drawn-out sigh, "Well it would be a waste for you to make such a commotion just run off after interrupting me. I have some tea brewing here. Why not stay for a cup so your poor meowly may warm up a moment." Thinking for a moment he then gestured to further into the cave, "I also have a couple of moss blankets your meowler may use if you'd like."
"Are, Are you sure?" Ell didn't want to intrude anymore but he did offer some blankets for Olaf so maybe staying a bit won't be so bad, and there would be some company. "Thank you, that's very nice of you." She smiled at the blob in front of her attempting to make eye contact but failing. "I'm Ellen by the way, although I typically go by Ell, and my meowlers name is Olaf." As she was speaking she slithered further into the cave and sat down using her tail as a seat. "Thank you again, you really didn't have to but it is much appreciated" She offered a soft smile towards the handsome blob in front of her.
Having had turned his attention back to his tea, he only tilted his head slightly towards her answering, "I'm quite sure. I wouldn't have offered had I not been." Rummaging through some cabinets put together by what seems to be some bleeding heart tree wood, he pulled out a sweet poffdula pod and an empty blue pod. He placed the pods on the counter and turned back to her. Casually leaning on the counter with his arms loosely folded he said, "My name is Inari, and my meowler is Teacup." Nodding in the direction of the pods he added, "Would you like any sweetness in your tea? I'll have to pour it into an emptied pod as I was not expecting to have to make any cups for visitors. Ah, and save your breath. It's truly fine." He tried to offer a smile in return but it only lasted half a moment as the motion felt weird to him.
Ell blushed as he spoke, his deep voice is so nice. Inari asked about tea, "Sweetness would be nice, thank you. I'm sor-" she was interrupted by him telling her it was fine and that he did not mind. She blushed again as he gave a quick smile. She looked over at Olaf and saw him cuddled with Inari's meowler, Teacup she thinks. They looked adorable all cuddled up already with a few blankets. she smiled at the two meowlers "Awww, they look so sweet and cozy." She turned her smile towards Inari across the room by the tea. "Look, don't they look so cute?" she asked.
Inari felt his cheeks warm as he saw her blush. Turning around quickly in awkward shyness, he found he wasn't even remotely prepared to interact with anyone let alone someone like this. Staring at the counter for a moment just trying to process, he shook it off a little and tried to force himself to focus on the tea. Opening up the sweet pod a little he carefully poured some into the other blue pod he had prepared. Then, he picked up the teapot, carefully smelled the tea inside, and poured it out into his cup and the pod. Clearing his throat a moment he glanced over to where the meowlers were resting. "They do seem to have gotten quite comfortable with each other I agree."
Ell smiled as she took the tea from Inari, blushing a bit she let out a quiet "thank you." As she started sipping her tea suddenly, a little purple blur zoomed out of Olaf's fur over into her hair. "Oh, I completely forgot! This is my aurasil Cerinthe. Must have been hiding in Olaf's fur." She let out a little laugh at this.
She turned away and looked into her cup, "I'm sorry for intruding on your home, but I do thank you for your kindness in letting us rest here." She faced the other blob again offering a smile with a small blush.
Turning back to scoop up his own cup, he nearly spilled it straight onto the ground as the flash of color startled him. Steadying his hands he let out a brief sigh. "Ah- I see. Do you have any others hiding in that fluff?"
Slithering closer he settled across from where Ell was and quietly sipped his tea a moment. Lowing his cup and raising an eyebrow he tilted his head slightly. He waved a free hand and spoke, "I can't ensure you any more than I already have. We are past the point of apologies now. Still, you are welcome for the hospitality. Though, it is not as if I have given you any more than common courtesy."
Glancing over to the vine curtain he added, "Now, what has brought you to the area?"
