The day after her walk with Greenie, Tauci felt more confident than ever before! She was going to discover the answers to the world, life, and everything! For some reason, the number 42 came to mind. Weird.
The happy blob bounced her way into the library, about to say something out loud, before getting a side eye from the Librarian, who already looked unpleasantly... upset. She instead closed her mouth and nodded, shutting the door oh-so silently behind her, before going up to the Librarian and asking in a faint whisper, "Where are the books that tell me about everything?" The Librarian rose a brow, before then motioning towards one section of the library, where Tauci would bounce off too.
At least the Librarian didn't scorn her like the last time.
So, Tauci gathered her sources, one book at a time, and piled them up on a low table. When she was sufficiently pleased with her selection, she began her work, reading all about the Deities of their world. The various biomes and their inhabitants, and even managed to discover a place she might like to call home, if it wasn't already taken. Still, they were all just grand ideas until put into place. She had ideas for a big house inside a tree and fluffy pillows, with a skylight inside her home, so she could stare up at the stars and moon; Tauci had grown fond of the moon and the celestial beings above. Everything she read was great and gave her a pretty in pink view of the world through rose-coloured glasses, at least until she'd discovered the scarier side of things the further into her studies she went. One particular subject she avoided was war and combat. Both sounded horrendous, and she wasn't too keen on even considering the idea of a violent encounter.
After many an hour of studying the world and her possibilities, Tauci settled on at least three things. One, she really liked Eris. The others were cool, and it sounded awesome to be made from a Goddess of Blood, but... Eris just seemed misunderstood. Plus, after learning about lions, she kinda loved the cute kitty aesthetic. Second, she hadn't been, but she wanted to see if perhaps the caves and crevices of the mossy mountains would be a good fit for her home! She loved the look and appeal of the Snekkitti City, and Smiling Sands were appealing for the warmth, but she also really liked the idea of having a cave all to herself. Third, of all the hobbies and skills she learned about, cooking and animal husbandry sounded awesome! In particular, she loved the wheeples, even if they did have shrill cries. Perhaps, maybe, she could be a farmer! Maybe she could find a farmer blob and learn something from them!
So with new information in mind, Tauci worked to put the books away, swiftly going to tell the Librarian about all the stuff she learned, but then realising maybe it would be best to just stick to a hello, and brief summary. Or what interested her the most. The wheeples. Afterwards, once she finished her 'book report' she left out, going to find herself one last little place to lay down for the night, before she'd begin her trek to the icy mountains to find herself a home and hobby.
