So ya gotta write Libby a book, then?" Lazing into a plush pillow and looking rather cozy in his red cloak, Val looked over at his sibling Vin, who had been staring down at a blank sheet of paper for an unspecified amount of time.
"Yep." Vin replied, the tired looking pup sounding rather frustrated. One headwing seemed to be covering one of their eyes as they shook their head, as if facepalming while staring down at the empty page.
"'N it's due in a few numbers?" Val shot back, this time looking at the equally stumped Kiv.
"I... dunno if it's due?" Kiv asked more than said shooting a glance at Vin as if looking for confirmation before tilting his head at the paper. "Sooner the better though?"
"...And ya ain't got a single idea between the two of ya?"
"Not one." Vin breathed a sigh of defeat, flopping over onto Kiv as they shot their widest puppy-dog eyes at their brother. "I'm not too proud to beg, Val. We're just looking for some inspiration."
Easing himself up from the plush seat, Val's three pairs of eyes glanced between Vin and Kiv as though in thought, before the middle pair snapped to the window. Tilting their head, Vin watched their cloaked brother trot over to the window with a grin and place a paw on their makeshift cutrains. "Whaddya think about somethin' a little...spooky?" Pushing the curtin across the window, much of the outside light was snuffed from the den. The entire room was bathed only in a soft green glow, with a vine of glow grapes wrapped around the table as the only light.

"Y'all ever seen those weird lookin Baskobirden's?" Val gave a nudge to Vin and Kiv both before taking a seat across the table, a rather suspicious grin on his face. "Big baskets on legs with wings? Pretty funny lookin, huh?"
