"... oh. I'm sorry. I hope you don't feel like you don't deserve to eat." Dioscuri takes your bod in, from your skeletal face; to your four arms; to your wings; to your mist. She wonders what would make someone evolve in the way you have; what innate feelies would make someone devolve their own mouth and render them essentially one sense weaker.
"The tea tastes kinda like clouds and the sky, but if they were a dessert. Did you ever taste sweet things before you lost your mouth? Sweet tastes like... happiness, and energy, and goodness. So yeah! It tastes happy and cloudy and warm. The bread tastes more... earthy, but not like dirt or anything. It just tastes more grounded, like it came from a plant, but also rich. It's kind of like biting into one of the chair cushions over there," she gestures to where the seats were, "except it's food."

Reinala nods emphatically as you speak, her ears wiggling with the movement. "Yesss. I often tell Mother that it doesss not matter if the beingsss on Terrea enjoy her, asss ssshe is a necesssary force that everyone will come to appreciate one day, asss chaosss reignsss. She agreesss... but doesss wisssh that the life here would sssee her as more than sssimply 'necesssary' - but thisss isss sssimply my own obssservation. Ssshe doesss not often confide sssuch thingsss in me."
The fox-blob peers at your eye-wings, and upturns her lips softly in their direction. "The purple of your form isss a lovely ssshade, and the ssstars within your eyesss remind me of the Old World. I do not think it would be disrespectful to evolve some scaless or gemsss; Mother and I do not lay claim to any particular featuresss, and I think gemsss in particular would look lovely on you - but then, I think you are pleasssing to the eye as you are now."
The Godborn's cheeks pick up a twinge of purple, and a cloying, sticky feeling rises in her chest then, and drives her to speak further. "... excussse me for saying so, but if you wisssh to ressside in this City once the Tour hasss elapsssed, I would welcome it. I find myssself enjoying your wordsss, and exisssting here without company allowed me to focusss on my work, but I mussst admit... I am ssseeeing the appeal of what I wasss misssing."

The fox-blob keeps her gaze trained on you as you speak, and she raises and lowers her face in a slow nod as she takes in your words, noting that you mention having others to test out your cuisine with. "I will have to try your suggestionsss - thank you for bringing them to me. Perhapsss you could return with a sssample one Number, when you feel confident in your disssh."
zachrin
Her ears droop around her gem masses as she hears of the tale of your first Number. "I imagine that wasss not pleasant - I apologize for the trouble my botsss have causssed you."
They do, indeed, form back into v-shaped tips when Themis is mentioned, but your question does give her pause. She turns it over a couple times in her mind before, carefully, responding.
"... Mother and I are bound to uphold Order above all elssse, and occasssionally when we are returning a creature to an Orderly ssstate, it isss sssimpler to begin from ssscratch. Mossst timesss, when a being isss put into Mother'sss care, ssshe will sssimply correct what isss ailing them. That will usssually mean closssing a wound or reconssstructing their matter. When it is a matter of the mind, however, Mother and I find that deleting memoriesss and beginning a being anew isss our preferred method of fixing sssomething like a being having gone 'feral'. I have come to learn that thisss isss a devisssive choice, and it hasss been much of what Dioscuri and I have discusssed - that there isss value to one'sss unpleasssant imprefectionsss asss well, and it isss not necesssarily 'fixing' a being if you remove all that makes them what they are in favour of... 'making them behave'. But if you are able to remove imperfectionsss, why would you keep them?"

"... perhapsss if you added sssome purple poffdula nectar asss well, you could make it sssweet and sour. I am led to believe that thisss would improve the tassste."
Reinala thinks back to when she was misting all of Terrea's flora and fauna for information on its chemical composition. "If you are able to find a lambfruit to harvessst, perhapsss you ssshould pulverize it into a liquid and experiment with it asss well. A lambfruit would go rather well in the drink you mentioned, so perhapsss your recipe may be the base and the lambfruit versssion a separate 'flavour' in the sssame line."

"... champion?" The foxy Godborn flicks her head to the side, tilting it at your wording. "That isss fassscinating. Hasss Ichor already taken a Champion? I did not know that she wasss expecting to be in need of protection. And to asssk a being sssuch as us to protect a being sssuch asss her..." She takes a closer look at the bladed horn-like appendages growing from your forehead, as if they are perhaps the secret behind why Ichor trusted you with such a title.
"Mother and Ichor are indeed... friendsss. I believe they have all consssidered each other a 'friend' at one point, but asss Ichor hasss been sssomewhat clear that ssshe does not wisssh for Mother and Erisss to be presssent on Terrea, I often asssume that thossse who are clossse to her do not wisssh for me to be here. I am pleasssed to hear that you think otherwissse... and relieved. If it isss your desssire to see Dioscuri more often, I believe that I will be requiring lesss of her attention now that my city isss built."

Dioscuri's jaw goes slack as she listens to you about 'the feral thing', the enormity of such a thing dwarfing her simple desire to go visit what she thinks is probs a Life Temple. "Uhhh... that sounds hella like a story book. Like, I'm sure you're telling the truth and all, but that sounds fictional or something. Is there really a little blobling out there who's leading an army already? Does one of you sweet little roundlings really have that much pull or intent to harm? I thought that ferals were just an unfortunate reality of life on Terrea, not like... something to be exploited." Her tone is one of reverence rather than fear - could she actually be looking up to whoever's doing this? Or, uh... impressed?
"I guess if something like that is really happening, I'd love to go talk to that blobby to see how they pulled it off... and why."

Dioscuri stops her hand-feeding and spooning when you block her efforts with your cheek, glistening fangs showing through her grin as she hears you out. There's a slight metal clink in the air as she puts the spoony-object down on the table, poising a finger at her lips as she mulls over your words.
"... I dunno if I'd call us close. I've been told they're my Purpose so I've been with them for a long time, and I know Dios actually quite dislikes Yume and is always asking Curi to 'switch with him', but... I don't know how much they actually know about me. I've spent Numbers and Numbers trying to teach Reinala to think before she just goes and fixes people, and I've also spent oodles of time on Yume, trying to like... well, at first I just tried to make her go talk to her Daddy. She didn't want to for soooOoOoOoo long and just moped and moped all the time about how he didn't love her and never let him defend himself because she just didn't want to let him have the opportunity to work his way back in."
"But like, I'm thankful to have them. Probably. I just don't know if it goes both ways, because I was kinda forced on them, but... they're all I've ever known, in a way, so I do think I like them."
Dioscuri picks up the spoon, then, but instead of using it to dribble more tea into you, she scoops some up and pops it into her own mouth. She savours the flavour on her tongue and slips the bowl-shaped end slowly out of her mouth, the tip of her tongue lingering on the underside to lap up the drips. "Now, little blobby... we don't have thaaaat much time. Let's get you fed and watered, kk?"
She uses the same spoon to scoop up some tea and pushes it past your lips, dumping it into your mouth. Then, she picks up a piece of bread and presses it in to join the tea, continuing either until there are but crumbs and drips or until you show signs of distress.

Dioscuri's eyes fall to your paws when you mention them, and a twinge of mischief crosses her face. She brandishes yet another spoon, holding it up in the air in front of your long snout. "Do yoooou want me to feed you too?"
At the mention of her relationship with Ichor, however, both her arm and cheek frills visibly droop. "I dunnoooo... every time I try to talk to her about things, she basically just tells me that I'm too new for her to want to tell me stuff or that she's busy and she'll talk to me later. And later never comes. I remember bits and pieces, memories of hers, memories of the Old World... and so many of them are just of blood. Is that normal, to have so many memories of making other people bleed? The more I think about this stuff, the more I think that Ichor wasn't always nice, or isn't nice now."
"I also just remember really random stuff, like these things called Poptarts and how much Ichor really liked them."
