Wigglesworth had been preparing for their next Etiquette class at the Onyxia Library when he got a message notification in their mind. They blinked their single eye and peered around within their mind for the message.
"I say there certainly has been quite a bit of activity in here as of late. Aha! There it is."
They scanned over the message and gave a few nods of their head thoughtfully. "Why, that sounds absolutely splendid! Of course I'm in, but it seems quite a lot of short notice in order to bring a proper gift to such a lovely godde-"
And then suddenly, it seemed as if they appeared somewhere cold and near a familiar massive white wall. Wigglesworth's eye shrunk a little.
"Oh, bother!"
They'd spoke too soon! What about their gift to Themis?!
"Oh dear."
Wigglesworth fretted. What were they going to do? They looked around the Mossy Mountain, but there did not appear to be anything in the nearby vicinity to grab. Oh no. Oh dear, oh dear, oh-
They startled when they were met with the bots.
"I say, I don't suppose it'd be possible to make an appointment and arrive at a later date?"
Wigglesworth seemed to shrink. "Yes, I suppose not."
They did their best to answer the questions honestly and promptly but immediately became hesitant when the bot asked if Reinala had done something wrong.
"Well, now, this seems a bit unfair, the only options are "Yes?"
Naturally, they passed with flying colors.
Sheldonna was, of course, scamming some poor gullible blob rubes when she received the message. She smirked a little.
"Ooooooh. Get in good with da godborn and Themis whats-her-face, eh? Oh yeah. I can't miss dis. I bettah get a good gift. Hm. What do them namby-pamby Order types like, anyway?"
She stroked her chin a moment thoughtfully. The gullible blob rubes looked at each other, wondering why Sheldonna was muttering to herself out loud.
Also, what was a rube? And gullible? She glanced at one of the bloblings, noticing a small wood carving they'd made out of the bark of a poffdula tree. It was a singular blob with a
face.
"Eh, good enough. I'll be taking that." She used her tail to yoink the wood carving away from the shocked blob.
"Ey, Dioscuri, baby. I'm in."
She put a hand on her hip and slithered up to the massive white wall, giving a whistle.
"Whew. Dis some place dey got here. I oughtta get someone to build me some walls like dis."
She blinked at the bot. "Ey, who da yous think yous are? Yous can't judge me. Yous don't even know me."
She tried to make her way past the bot.
Beaken arrived several moments later, and when he was met with the bot, he blinked his single eye slowly.
"Am I a good person? Well, I suppose we'd have to take a look at the definition of good-"
Please try again.
"Is it good even to ask these kind of questions?"
Please try again.
"If a good person is popped alone in the Smiley Sands, does anyblobby know they're gone?"
Please try again.
It seemed like Beaken was going to be there for quite a while.
Bristol Benevolent arrived without much fanfare with a single bouquet of many different types of plants - most of them white and arranged in an orderly pattern and tied with a bow made of white grass. He took a few, almost robotic steps forward, and answered the questions quietly and politely and with regular ease. He paused, too, and seemed to narrow his eyes a moment when it was asked if Reinala had done something wrong, but he gave an answer to this question as well.
