i adore most if not... all animals but what i would adore as a pet is a koi fish! realistically though i'll probably end up having a gecko/crickets or a pitbull, since i dont really have plans of living somewhere i'll be able to properly raise kois. if i can be completely unrealistic though i would just... have the entire ocean as my pet. the entire ocean

I have many pets lmao, they're all rescues! I also work at an animal sanctuary with goats, sheep, cows, pigs, horses, ect... so if you want stories on them just lmk

i have so so so many stories from the farm! One of my favorites comes from one of my favorite animals there, a goat named Newman! he passed away last month but he was 17 which is hella old so he lived a good life

Newman was this big alpine goat with those big spiral horns, he was super friendly, and hellishly smart. He knew how to open car doors that were unlocked, and can eat anything he could get his hooves on. He's eaten everything from a bag of marshmallows to a $2000 check to the hem of my shirt. He was constantly plotting ways to be inconvenient to the volunteers, like standing in the middle of a barn hallway and refusing to move, his horns blocking anyone who attempted to pass. He often could be found standing next to a tipped over wheelbarrow or a broken fence post.

And yet, everyone loved him. you could spot young volunteers frozen in place, not daring to move as Newman used them as a personal scratching post. I myself often would stop working to give him a fond cheek scratch or a friendly headbutt. He was great at open houses and loved meeting children and adults, casting aside his devilish demeanor for a sweet and charming personality (we're a non profit so donations are 100% of what keeps the farm running. I'm pretty sure he had that figured out)

He was the face of the farm for many years, and was basically a meme. damn i miss that guy
