Bloblings have begun hanging out in groups all around Terrea! They're calling them 'blobling initiatives', which sounds weirdly formal, but they're still a highly curious occurence... maybe you should check them out?
Our Discord server is invite only. Please DM Ichor or Saerfall after you've submitted your blobling claim form, and we'll send you an invite link. We spend most of our time on our Discord, so if it seems quiet here, we're probably all sequestered away in our server.
Aurora was hit by the sudden moisture in the air, like a wall compared to the Smiley Sands. It also exhibited a much, much more different.. vibe. One other major different was the new flora. The bleeding heart trees. While their dark coloration of bark reminded her of the chromillia, it was much, much smaller, avoid of the coloration, and held fruits. Aurora was wary of the fruits, and steered clear.
But void of all that, she was excited. Excited to finally see something... new. Despite the gloomy setting. She could only imagine what she would find, or perhaps, what would find her.
Upon exploring some more, Aurora was quite intrigued. There were little vines of light, the glow grapes, that she found to be useful. Though, it was more just for comfort. Carefully holding the grape in her mouth, the blobling would explore more daringly, now that she could see. She didn’t quite like the taste, though. She wasn’t trying to eat it, but it kinda just.. happened. Of course, it was while it was still glowing. The small grapes provided to use for her after their glowing went out. The slight breeze was surprisingly startling, considering she never felt one before. It was easy to get used to, though. Overall, Aurora was having a blast exploring this “new” area.
Aurora could have swore she saw something looming in the distance, dark in coloration. Though, to be far, it could just be a odd cloud.. Plop! Straight into a shallow pool of water. She really needed to keep her focus on where she was rolling rather than the scenery. She bounced back onto the drier land (though, not too much drier!), and paused to take in the scenery without multitasking. She’d yet to come across another blobling in a while, but she did happen to catch mere glimpses of other creatures. They flew, and they lived in the water. That’s all she knew, considering they would vanish as soon as she tried to focus on them. Aurora never had the patience to wait for them to come back, anyways.
Aurora decided to more towards this “cloud”, turning in the general direction before rolling off a bit more carefully.
The wetness was quickly something Aurora got tired of. Really tired of. At this point, however, she had decided that the darker spots in the sky weren’t actually clouds, but structures of some sort. Odd structures, unlike what she had ever seen! Clearly this couldn’t be just her that has discovered this? Her rolling and bouncing became more reckless as she made her way closer and closer to this compound of dark structures. What could it be? Aurora wished she could travel faster, as the suspense was killing her.
Well, the suspense and the ridiculous amount of times she fell into a pool of water.
