Once again, Corvid was just minding his own business. He was jotting down things in a random notebook he had made, now that he was feeling much better. Falconry came back with… Something quite odd in their talons. Fluffy and white… A lambfruit!
“Where in Ichor’s name did you get that?” Corvid said, before quickly grabbing a bit of ferrowood he had plucked at his visit to Onyxia. He fasioned some into a rod with a slightly blunt spike at the end, then put it inside of Pebbles, his new vulkiln, to fire. He quickly ate the lambfruit and spat out the wool. Once the rod was done, he put the wool at the non-sharpened end of it, making a very, very thin brush, perfect for one of his recipies. “Falconry, do me a favor. Please get a lot of these, so I can make a bag to make your job much easier.” Falconry nodded, and took off.
Corvid got up, and walked over to his nearby Poffdula tree, plucking a lot of orange Poffdulas.
Out of the corner of his eye, he spotted him.
Greenie.
All of a sudden, he was only thinking of one blob, and it definitely wasn’t Greenie. It was Sheldonna. Thinking of her made his face turn orange again. Damn…
Greenie nodded to him, as if to tell him to tell everything. Uh… Okay?
Corvid walks up to Greenie and takes a deep breath in. “So… There’s… This girl. I think I… Really like her. Maybe we could be happy together one day, maybe even bleed together in a bleeding heart tree… But, I doubt this would ever happen. Something tells me it wouldn't.”
Greenie tilts his head to ask who this girl is.
“Uh… Her name is Sheldonna-”
For just a moment, Corvid sees Greenie flinch, before regaining his normal, calm composure. He nods Corvid off. Corvid takes his pods and goes back to his nest, wondering why Greenie flinched like that...
