Eela had heard from through the glow grape vine that there were bloblings out there in search of fish. She was guided toward the Marble City, yet another locations she had heard of but never explored, and approached the enormous white pillars carefully. It took her a moment to realize that there was a full-sized, actual blobling sitting there before her. What beautiful colors; muted, but almost shimmering purely for the nature of them. This beautiful blobling's eyes opened, and her ears turned toward Eela, who was simply struck.
"Hello. It hasss come to my attention that there isss a new depiction of Mother on thisss planet," the white fox said, "I believe it isss a long aquatic creature, and I wissh for you to catch one or ssseveral. I wisssh to sssee if it isss an accurate represssentation of her, and posssibly sssave a few of them from being.... devoured."
Eela frowned softly. She hadn't really considered that the fish being in images of the Gods may worry some. Certainly, it seemed to upset this glimmering blobling that the Themisfish would end up eaten. Eela approached the striking figure and held forward her bucket of fish.
"I've caught some," she said. Five Themisfish squirmed and flopped against each other, not necessarily gracefully, in their temporary holding place. Eela wasn't sure if she imagined it, but they seemed to be peering up at the Marble City, and perhaps to their savior as well. The lavender blobling's eyes cast down as if ashamed. It wasn't very kind to keep animal in captivity, was it? She peered back to Twilly, who purred happily and rubbed her head against Eela's arm. Well, Eela supposed. Maybe there was a difference.
"Here," Eela said, "For you." She bowed her head (which was, in essence, her entire body) and abandoned the graceful fish with this new, beautiful vision. "If I catch anymore, I won't-- I promise I won't eat them." Her own will did not speak for that of the others, though. She wouldn't start a fight over what others chose to do with Themisfish. That wouldn't be quite fair. But she, herself, wasn't sure what she'd do with them at all anymore. Perhaps she should just drop them off here? Maybe the offer stood forever.
